I want to "Show My Options and Tabs from Last Time". I go into Options/General and I select that option from the drop down menu.

But there is no place to save the selection. No button. No nothing. Am I missing something? I'm not stupid. Why is this so difficult?

When I exit FF and reload, I lose all my tabs.

This is frustrating.

I am not a happy users and I know many others aren't as well. Forcing us to use Yahoo is terrible. I'd rather pay FF a small fee and have the ability to use Google.

Back to my problem. How do I save my options so I don't lose my tabs when I log off. I attached an image (if it loads---it's having problems) of what I see when I try to change my default options. There is no obvious way to save your selection. And, as said, when I exit FF and reload FF, I lose my tabs.

HELP!

Thx! -S

Most Firefox options are updated as soon as you change them. However, a few things still need a re-start to kick in.

Changes made on the about:preferences page are applied instantly and there is no OK button to confirm changes. If a pop-up opens then you may still see an OK button. Note that you can usually resize such a pop-up window if you place the mouse pointer in the bottom right corner.

In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes".

  • do not clear the Browsing History
  • Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
  • Clearing Cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.
