There used to be a menu in the message header (lower right of screen) that included viewing the message source. I accidentally deleted it and cannot find how to restore it. I have looked through the Config editor and main menus and cannot find an option.

I've just resumed using Thunderbird, with a new installation on a new computer, after a long period of having only my ISP's web interface. I'm having a problem with adaptive junk filtering: it thinks everything is junk until I tell it otherwise.

By default, it leaves putative junk messages in the Inbox, but displays a yellow ribbon above a junk message's preview with "Learn more" and "Not junk" buttons. In this configuration, having it assume everything new is junk is just a nuisance.

But eventually I will finish training it, and I'll want it to move junk to the Junk folder automatically. Then this behavior will be a disaster.

Using made-up numbers to illustrate, suppose I get 1000 messages per day. Of these, 998 are from addresses it recognizes, so it knows that 993 of them are junk and 5 are legitimate, because I've received email from those addresses before, and I've told it what to do with them. That leaves 2 messages which may or may not be junk.

It should leave those messages in the Inbox, preferably with some kind of warning, and let me decide whether they are junk or not. Instead it's going to move them to Junk, and I'll never know I got them unless I review all 995 new messages in the Junk folder... which would defeat the whole point of having a junk filter.

Is there a way to make the junk filter default to "not junk" when it doesn't know? I've looked at the configuration dialog, and I don't see one.

It would be very useful if I could change the list order of the email addresses in the column on the left. I have several email addresses, and I would like to change the list order in which they are displayed.

what settings have i screwed up on youtube.; always have to watch full advertisement and never displays skip icon to move into subject.

what do i need to do to rectify this. i am mozila challenged :)

After transferring the profile to a new computer, I still have to setup my columns and apply them to children for every email address I have. This is a pain. Why are the column settings not included in the profile? They must be located somewhere. Does anyone know which file contains this info, so I can transfer it instead of having to go through this? This problem is compounded because I have several email addresses.

The emails received and marked as junk mail do not automatically get placed in the junk folder. I would like clarification as to how this works. I want to have items marked as junk and/or spam removed from the inbox and placed in the appropriate folder automatically.

I just did a clean install of mint 22.1. Before I did that I wanted to export my address book. The only option I had was to export to Thunderbird mobile and I downloaded TB mobile to my android Tablet. Now I have a clean install and I need to have my address book back. I have searched high and low on your support pages, Reddit, and others. The only thing that comes close is from your support page that doesn't answer the question as it is circular. how to export to mobile and then import to mobile. How do I import the K9s file my TB mobile exports into my TB desktop? Thank you for your time James Maule

Applying Column view and Current View when applied to folder and children is not consistently retained. The system often reverts to a default which I don not prefer.

Is there a method to set the system default to my preferences which will survive updates?

And, is there a way to copy viewing preferences to another account?

In updated version I lost my Mouse right click screenshot and edit ability of any images, how do I get it back? I rather use the old version of Firefox and wish Firefox does not force us to update

About Translation Panel how to block this panel to open automatically each time I open a new window ? Panel offering only "Never translate [Language]" or "Never tanslate this site". Even I choose "Never translate [Language]" or "Never translate this site". It still offering the translation on every new window even it's the same site on a new window !!!!

In trying to resolve a recent problem with google blocking access to email, I apparently made some changes that I didn't intend to make and didn't notice in time to reverse the choices.

In the ss below, along the right side I've highlighted numbers that I think are the total records in each category. I see this as clutter and would prefer not to display them. At the top left, I used to have a little cloud with an arrow pointing down that, when clicked, would download messages from servers. Beside it was a blue button that, when clicked, brought up a screen for new outgoing messages. I'd like to get them back.

I've been through the menus at the top of my T-bird screen without finding any options that would fix either of the issues mentioned. I haven't found anything in settings.

Can anyone tell me how to get T-bird settings back that I prefer?

Is there a way to add selections to the drop-down menues in the Address Book? For instance, I woudl like to add the selection "Main" to the possible phone number identifiers.
