FF ver 140. just loaded and now all my sidebar bookmark fonts are black on black. How do I change the sidebar bookmark font back to white? When I disabled all Themes the white color came back, but enabling any theme and they the font turns black again.

On starting my laptop and going online I noticed that my sidbar bookmarks text has turned black, it was previously white as I use the dark mode for my browser, I have tried changeing my theme and the only way to revert this is to not use any themes and just have white background which I dont want, is there any way to change this and why has it happened, I have been thought both Firefox and Windows settings but cant find a way to change it?

When "Moving" emails to folder links that are 3 levels down in "Local Folders", the "Recent Destinations" listing will only save the link as 'Inbox - Local Folders' - not the email folder 'saved to' which may be more than one level down from 'Local Folders'.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird and I get the same results.

the current update with "do-full everyday tasks"; "search" and "find.." is really ingenious! The button "actions" shown in the introduction cannot be found or set with help. ANd, for example "@manage themes" in adress-line doesn't work.....

Hello, I have just upgraded to windows 11. On firefox I used to be able to right mouse click on the firefox icon in the taskbar to select my saved saved (Pinned) websites. In the past with Windows 10 I right mouse clicked on the url of favorite websites then drag and drop on the firefox icon in the taskbar and that was it. On Windows 11 that no longer works. How do I pin my favorite websites to the firefox icon in the taskbar on Windows 11? I thank anyone for your help.

Several years ago I made the mistake of committing myself to using Firefox and naturally I have had shitloads of problems ever since. Today I boot my computer and launch FF and it asks me if I want to "refresh for a new experience". I'm not an inbred retard so I declined. Now all my addons are gone. How the hell do I fix this? Please don't tell me "in the future use such and such addon to fix it when Firefox deliberately fucks up your addons". Thanks.

When I highlight/select an email message and then switch the sort option from Date to From, the same email is no longer highlighted and selected. The highlighting changes to a softer color and I have to select the email message again. The message selected should still be selected when switching the sort option.

When deleting several files on my site, Firefox asked me if I wanted to remove this warning popup.

I said yes.

Since then, I've been unable to delete files, because the popup no longer appears.

How can I reactivate it?

I have some websites that require pop-ups. I cannot get them to work in Firefox on my Android phone. Google searches reference a setting under "privacy and security" where I should be able to allow pop-ups in general or for certain URLs only, but I don't have that setting option.

I have Firefox version 139.4 if that helps.

I have a lot of Firefox windows and tabs open, and I really don't want to lose my session.

I wanted to open a webpage in Firefox in fullscreen mode. But evidently there's some kind of serious flaw in Firefox that makes it incapable of opening webpages in fullscreen mode. Everyone says the only workaround is to open the webpage in kiosk mode. So I tried it.

But now I have two big problems:

1. One of my Firefox windows, with all its tabs, is stuck in kiosk mode. (Even if I close the window and then restore it with Ctrl+Shift+T, it's still in kiosk mode.)

2. All new Firefox windows I open with Ctrl+N are also stuck in kiosk mode.

I don't know what to do, and I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Firefox has just introduced wallpapers for browser home page. I cannot get it to work. It's either cropped too small or pixilated, is there a setting I need to adjust, or a particular image format? So that it looks ok.

I want to save a shortcut on my desktop that will access a particular site in Firefox using private browsing. It appears (?) years ago you could do that by adding -private to the end of the target. That appears to no longer work.

Suggestions?

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps.
