I have a newly downloaded copy of Thunderbird, and I'm signed in to Firefox. When I try to install it, I get as far as Creating Account, and the installer hangs with a spinning circle. Please help.

I have been using the same Email Address and Thunderbird for Downloading my Emails for over 10 years. Now Thunderbird will Not Install. Am getting a strange Error Message ... Authentication Error : Unable To Log in at Server. This has happened on 3 machines. Why is it now impossible to Install Thunderbird on Windows 10 machines.

Got a new macbook, did migration from the old to the new. Thunderbird failed to migrate. The icon on the desktop did, but it is not listed in the application list. Both are running the same software version, Tahoe 26.5.2. Talked to Apple, they tried to help, but in the end, they answered that it wasn't their software, so contact Thunderbird. Thoughts??? Over the last couple of weeks, TB comes up with a message "System Integration Use Thunderbird as the default client for:" with "Email", "Custom Thunderbird links (net.thunderbird)" and "Always perform this check when starting Thunderbird" options checked.

I check set as default and get "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\uninstall\helper.exe'" and "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\uninstall\helper.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." (screen shots attached)

As you can see, I was just accepting the settings. not sure why it's looking for helper or to uninstall? Sorry, can't find the app menu in TB with instructions provided in the line.

IIRC, there was a discussion some time ago that a repository for .deb packages would be made, similar with we already have for Firefox. There was any development in this question?

I have an old iMac running macOS High Sierra. After a power surge last night, I have been unable to access any mail accounts. Apparently this is because my iMac cannot use two-factor authorization. The recommended fix is to use Mozilla Thunderbird. I downloaded this, but when I double-click the .dmg file, I get a corrupt image message. I am wondering if this is because I have a 32-bit machine.

I got notifications that I needed to update my email. I tried to follow the directions but after it was uninstalled, nothing else happened and now it's gone and I have nothing. I do not know what to do and am panicked because it's the only way I have to contact many people and it's really important to me.

I can sign in with my google account, but when I come to the installation window with Pop3 and SMTP another password is requested. I don't know which, and there's no possibilty to get a new. Please help Jens

I am running T-bird 45.8 in order to use Reminderfox on win10-22H2, It's not a perfect solution -- a bit clunky. I have read that T-bird now has a good calendaring system and would like to try it out, but do not want to mess with the current install, in order to be able to revert easily. What's the best way to go about that? (FWIW, I do not need to hear about how it's such an awful security mess, and all that. I am aware.) --whawn

I donated £15. I received an email thanking me for the donation Thunderbird <give@thunderbird.net> Whenever I click download I'm returned to the Donate page. Are these URL scams?
