A little square used to pop up when I clicked on the searchbar on my iPhone, but it seems to have stopped doing this with the latest release. Can anyone please help me find it, or if it has gone, then please confirm to me?

I can still open QR codes by opening the Camera App first, but the Firefox QR code reader was always easier to use, and I just like it more!

I don’t seem to be able to add a Home Button within the Browser since it updated to the latest version. This is very frustrating as it gets used all the time. Please explain how I can add a home button.

Running the latest Firefox iteration on Mac, OS Sequoia 15.5. After the last recent update my bookmarks have vanished. I can only find a very outdated set related to an old profile (going back at least two years). There are no files anywhere in the library when I tried to follow instructions for restoration (most of which apply to Windows), and I can't find any backups. Is there a way of accessing and restoring the most recent backups or the original file in this situation?

NB is it possible that the update overwrote my profile with a new one? -- snapshot of the profiles on file attached. bit9ck45.default-release is the current profile; the other is the very outdated one.

I cannot find the auto-fill options in settings. Within settings I have found autofill for bank cards, but that is the only option. I am trying to turn on autofill personal details such as address etc.

Please help!

After years of hoping for a dedicated new tab button in Firefox for iOS, my wishes were answered this morning when I installed the Firefox 140.2 on iOS. As explained in the release notes, there is "a sleeker, more intuitive Toolbar and Tab Tray — with smoother animations, simplified controls, and a modern look that feels right at home on iOS." What's more, it replaced the (IMO) useless "home" button with a BEAUTIFUL one-tap new tab button! I was overjoyed!

However, a few hours later, my Firefox UI has reverted back to the old way. It still claims to be on version 140.2, so I don't understand how that happened. As far as I can tell, there are no options within settings to get the new UI.

What happened, and how can I take advantage of the new UI?

Is there any way to restore the Home Page icon (house) or restore a previous version of Firefox?'

Since updating, I can't rearrange the tabs. When I press and hold a tab, the preview expands and some menus appear, but I can't move them by dragging them. I use iPhone12.

History is being auto populated on both sides of your firewall between private and non private browsers. Are you allowing for history to be shared from non private to private browsers? If Not the we have an international cyber attack on our hands! These adults sites are potentially using trojan horses, viruses, piggybacks up on or into USA OpenAI … via crossing your firewall by using past history of ChatGPT or OpenAI. I am only attempting to aid and help you. I have Never had to manually clear out a history when I use private browsing on your platform. I cleared it last night and now find that ChatGPT OpenAI has been repopulated in my private Foxfire browser History! Are you allowing the history to cross over from normal mode browsing into Private Mode? If NOT CALL All Hands on Deck. I have notified ChatGPT OpenAI of this potential international breach of security. I only have ChatGPT open in a regular and non secure window. China, Russia and the Adult Site Industry may be using OpenAI to launch an all on assault???

Quickly answer this question: I cleared out of all windows of my private window and then deleted them a pressed done. I also cleared all history on private browsing! I went to a non private browsing window on Foxfire using ChatGPT OpenAI to do some work and had finished for the night. Before I called it a night, I went back into Private browsing and opened an adult sight and the one again closed the private browsing window, deleted all windows and hit done. I then checked the history in private browsing to be shocked to find the entire thread from my ChatGpT OpenAI appearing in the private history of my private browser ! I have Not opened ChatGPT today of after I had manually deleted the history in private browsing history! DO YOU NOW SHARE HISTORIES ACROSS FOXFIRES WALL ?? If Not then Adult sites are using OpenAI to get into your Private Browsing Firewall from normal non private mode !! I Did Allert OpenAI about this and it is documented as having been reported on July 04, 2025 by me who has requested and has whistleblower privileges

Since the 140.0 update i have been unable to move tabs on ios mobile by tapping and dragging them as i was able to in previous versions. is there a new way to move tabs on mobile or has this function been removed? if it was removed (purposely or accidentally) is there any plan to bring it back? its really frustrating not being able to organize my tabs anymore :(.

No matter what I try I can’t get my bookmarks to transfer from my laptop to my phone. What am I doing wrong? My folders transferred to my phone, but the folders are empty

I was wondering how to restrict certain words from being browsed on the account, is that possible? I heard FoxFilter does something similar but I can’t seem to find it.
