On Firefox browser for iPhone, version 142.1, when I click on a link to a PDF the browser use to open the PDF in a new tab where I could view it and download it, if I wanted. Now when I click on a link to a PDF the browser opens a new window and a dialogue pops up at the bottom of the screen with the name of the PDF and a button that says “Download”(see attached photo #1). The PDF does not load for viewing. If I close the dialogue box, the page remains blank and I have to close the tab. If I select “Download” a file is downloaded to my Firefox downloads folder (see attached photo #2) but the file doesn’t load anything for viewing on Firefox (see attached photo #3) or any other PDF viewing app I have on my device (which includes Adobe, Documents, Dropbox, & more). I have gone through all of the settings on the Firefox app and my device and I have nothing related to PDFs. I would like for the app to treat PDFs like it did before, open them in a new tab for viewing with the option to save/download to my device. How can I make this work?

My Firefox on iPhone has a malware that pops up a box urging me to call a phone number (which I won’t do) about a payment. It has Cancel and Ok buttons, both of which trigger another box from the dialer containing the same phone number. I cannot get to the FF settings or escape from that page because the pop ups immediately come back and reload the page. The site looks like appleinstantsupportpays[.]z13[.]web[.]core[.]windows[.]net. All of the online advice relates to FF on Windows or Android. How do I clear the malware from my phone?

IOS on IPad. Every click opens content in a new tab rather then the current tab. If I close the app and reopen I might get a few minutes of normal click behavior where clicking content opens in in the same tab, then it goes back to opening new tabs.

I have already done the below troubleshooting: Open Firefox: on your iOS device. Tap: the three-lines menu button (the "3-bar" menu) on the right side of the address bar. Scroll down: and tap Settings. Tap: Homepage. Under Opening Screen, select Last Tab.

In the past couple days I've run into an issue where Firefox on my iPad signs me out of all my accounts on various websites. It doesn't happen immediately when I close it, but if I log into one of my accounts and leave the iPad to sit for an hour or so, I'll find I'm logged out when I open it again. I'm not encountering this problem with Firefox on my other devices or with Safari on my iPad (I'm using two browsers for sites where I have two accounts).

I've seen answers to similar problems talk about going into cookies settings, but it seems the settings menu is configured differently on the mobile version from the desktop version. The screenshot shows the one menu I could find that mentions cookies. I switched it to not clear cookies, but I think this is about choosing data to clear on this particular screen, rather than what is cleared on closing. Either way, it didn't help.

Any ideas what's happening and how to get it back to normal?

I have never used autofill for credit cards but two cards (frequently used) showed up in Saved Cards in Settings and I deleted them. My current issue is that I went to a website I have never been to before to buy a ticket and my new credit card's data autofilled! Where is that being saved and how do I delete it?

Instructions from Firefox on my Macbook are: go to Menu (on iPad) and tap Sync & Save data. Then scan QR code below.

I tried to do this, but no Sync option appears on my iPad menu. Is it hidden under another option I do have? I tried choosing 'Settings' but it wasn't there. All the other menu options don't seem relevant - 'Find in Page', for example, or Copy, Share, etc. (I chose the menu at top right of screen, as shown on my Firefox page instructions from the Macbook). Can't see any other Menu icons on the iPad Firefox page. Any advice on how to locate 'Sync and Save' on my Firefox app homepage would be gratefully received! Thank you.

In the current version of Firefox on my iPad, running the latest version of iOS, the “Reading List” option no longer appears on my menu. How to I make it reappear?

I used to browse on Firefox on my iPhone, and when I wanted to delve into a tiny page I would send it to my computer's Firefox. That capability seems to have gone away. Is there still a way to do that? I have tried turning Desktop Site on but that doesn't seem to do anything. Help!

Hello, the recent update which changed the positions of the “tabs” and meatball menus, as well as eliminating the homepage button, has made navigating the browser features much less intuitive. The now seeming lack of the option to return to my homepage from an open tab is quite frustrating.

This isn’t a bug or anything, just one long-time user’s experience and opinion. Thank you for your time!

For several years I have been playing competitively a game app on Firefox focus. A week or so ago, it was no longer on Firefox Focus. Even when I enter the name of the game app in Firefox focus, it bounces me back to Google which is loaded with ads.

Just by experimenting I was able to recover the app for a few days and yet it has again disappeared. Why is this happening? What can I do to stop this from happening?

I just noticed that the last time I reported this issue I included two screenshots which are still below. They may not help in anyway, but I decided to include them just so it can be seen but I decided to include them the first time to show what that happened. As I said, somehow I was able to recover it the game back on Firefox focus and yet it is now doing the same thing as shown below. Please help. Firefox focus can’t be beat when it comes to game apps. (I have more than one on there but haven’t played them in a couple years).

Esther a chat help site where someone can guide me on how to remedy this problem? If not, what can I do?

I have relied on Lo Wise for years have all of my passwords scored on it however, as of late my account says there is no passwords for my account even though everything is synced from computer and phone and Firefox and is up-to-date please help
