Nobody likes AI. It doesn't work. It makes things harder. It lies. It steals. It literally makes people dumber. Why would you choose to support such a scam? People choose to use this service because they don't like their data being stolen and sold, they don't like the big names trying to control or influence them. They want to use this service because all the mainstream ones that come preinstalled are from big companies that people hate because of what they do. So why did you decide to do this? AI doesn't have good press, it's been proven to be more expensive and less helpful. So either you've been scammed by the AI companies, you're in the pocket of these companies scamming us, or you made a truly horrendous decision that should be immediately walked back and apologised for. Making it "optional" is not a real solution. We want it gone. If you can't stick to a basic principle like that, then I won't use this service any further.

Firefox promised us an gen ai kill switch. But theres this new ai summary feature that is not automatically disabled when i press the kill switch. Could you fix this, so that when i press the disable ai button all gen ai features are disabled! Even the ai summaries feature. Could you also not hide or try to sneak in any more ai features! Nobody needs ai features, it's actively making us all dumber. Thank you.

When using the official Firefox AI sidebar integration configured with Gemini, the user authentication status is not persistently maintained. Every time the sidebar is minimized/closed, or when switching within the sidebar interface (such as clicking away to view Chat History and returning), the session state is destroyed. The sidebar immediately defaults back to a generic splash page prompting the user to "Sign In" again, effectively breaking the seamless chat experience.

Please give nore details on how chatbots in the sidebar work. Work with free versions? Same limits as chatbot plans. For example. Explain in human-understandable tech language how this works.

I would like to use Firefox with a search that uses an AI bot, similar to how Brave uses Leo. Leo does not ask me to sign in every time, like Perplexity does when I select it as the Firefox search engine. Also, when I do a search, Perplexity always causes the Google sign in option, which I hate. So, I continue to use Brave/Leo, because I use the AI/Leo capability a lot, but would prefer Firefox and something.
