When using any dark Firefox theme on ChromeOS, the contextual menu text and background are both dark. This means there is little to no contrast, and so the text is very difficult to read.

Unfortunately, the ChromeOS screenshot tool doesn't work on Linux apps, and so I'm unable to share a screenshot. Tested using several dark themes, including the default -- behaviour was consistent in all.

Firefox installed using the official package through the built-in ChromeOS Linux VM "crostini". Issue has been reported by other users on other platforms in the past, so this seems to be a long-standing bug.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

   color: #000000 !important;       /* Black text */

}

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

There must be a way to make this "find" feature useful for me.

As a user of Firefox has been a good experience up till three weeks ago YouTube will not load. I cant play any of there videos this is been on going for three weeks. Ive asked you to fix it but so far you aren't doing anything about it. My operating system is windows 10 64 bits. Can you please look into this and get it fixed. The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

The main screen (desktop) there were 4 rows of bookmarks connecting me (user) with the websites that are frequently connected. Recently after restarting the desktop computer, those shortcut bookmarks no longer display. Plus I'm unable to connect to the record of bookmarks previously saved using the star icon. Hi, when I want to zoom in to the website page, I cant seem to find the horizontal scroll, thus I cant see the left side of the page that I zoomed in. Please make the horizontal scroll available. Thank you.

I have Verizon FIOS and have been able to receive cable channels on my laptop until recently. Now I cannot access them without a sign-in which leads to some sort of error that I don't understand. Any help?

I received a notice from centurylink about their changing my user I.D. from [edited] @q.com to [edited] @myctl.net beginning on 10/21/2025. I signed into my account, using the new email ([edited] @myctl.net) and now I'm blocked from my email / webmail Is firefox blocking my email account??

I want to share my extremely frustrating experience while trying to create desktop shortcuts for Firefox profiles. I have two profiles, and despite following all standard methods (including manually navigating to the profile folders), nothing worked. The usual steps, including directly creating shortcuts from the profile folder or using suggested tools, failed.

I specifically wanted a way to create exact shortcuts for each profile without manually editing anything. Even after testing everything, the only option left seems to be permanently leaving the profile inside Firefox and opening it from there, which defeats the purpose of quick access.

Due to this unnecessarily complicated process and lack of practical solutions, I have decided to leave Firefox permanently and switch to another browser.

Has anyone successfully created direct shortcuts for multiple Firefox profiles in Windows 11 without manual editing? Any practical advice would be appreciated, although I’m already moving away from Firefox.

When I open up my facebook page it loads but is blank. When I open my youtube channel it opens but when click video in opens I can see chat and can talk in chat, but the video doesn't play wheel keeps spinning. I have arthrytis in my hand, and trying to keep that narrow moving in and out bar on the right of the page or drop down like the tab menu, is agonizing. WHY NOT MAKE IT WIDER????

I like the option, and use it, but haven't found any way to toggle back to automatic so I can read webpages normally. I've tried search in the community forum(s) as well. No luck.
