I saw a msg that my firefox password was charged. Don't know if accidentally done while on Mozilla or changing default back to firefox after brief set on Chrome due to Google saying needed

My tabs from a Windows 10 PC were imported to Firefox running on my Mac Studio ( OS is Tahoe ver 26.2). How do I easily recover these tabs and prevent this behavior in the future? Note: I have copied previous versions of the Firefox profiles files to my active profiles folder, but this does not bring back the lost tabs.

I run normal firefox on linux. Fully up-to-date. Every time I quit the app, it reverts to a version of my profile from a month ago, and loads all the tabs I had open then, and then receives all the tabs that I sent to the device in the interim (~1 month). As I speak, it just caught the 60 or 70 tabs in this window.

I tried changing the name of my profile folder to randomstring.defaultOLD and changed one of the backups to randomstring.default. This didn't change the behavior. I'm still stuck in the loop. I saved my tabs with onetab, because firefox isn't remembering my session anymore. I thought it was something to do with updates, like it only loses its mind upon updates, but that's not true. It thinks it's updating firefox EVERY TIME, because the one time it's loading to 1 month ago it was updating, but I'm 100% sure there are no updates to firefox in my linux. It's just hallucinating.

The articles on restoring from backup are outdated. They say to use an html file. There is no html file. It's just folders for profiles, not html files. HELP!

I've been receiving pop up messages on firefox saying something like "Torguard won't work with apple updates going forward". Is this genuine as apple say they don't use pop up messages.

Looking... Given everything you've tested, I don't think this is your LG or audio drivers. Especially since YouTube works in Firefox and ChatGPT voice works in Chrome on the same machine. That combination screams Firefox-ChaGPT compatibility quirk. My hunch is, for now use Chrome for voice, Firefox for everything else. And if you want, report it to Firefox support. Include that ChatGPT voice plays no audio but transcribes fine. Mention Windows 11, Firefox version, and that Chrome works. That's useful for them. And yeah, no shame in sticking with Chrome for voice until they fix it.

Using your browser for first time today using two popular websites that are used daily (theglobeandmail.com and theweathernetwork.com) that Malwarebytes deemed these unsafe quoting 192.178.192.132.443 - they are now blocked and don't understand why these websites would have any problems. Previously all my tabs would launch when I opened Firefox. Recently it has stopped doing so. Only one tab opens. All the other tabs I use frequently do not open. Why is this? How do I have all my tabs open when I open Firefox

This is not a huge issue but it is irksome. Why do the all the bookmarks in the toolbar justify left? Also, there are no UI options in the settings to change the justification. Most browsers center all the bookmarks in the toolbars. Surely this wouldn't be too hard to change, would it?
