Pre-release versions of Firefox, such as Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly, let you test upcoming features and updates in your environment before they are released to the public.

  • Firefox Beta: one version ahead of the regular Firefox release. For example, if regular Firefox is version 154, the Beta version is 155.
  • Firefox Nightly: Two versions ahead of the regular Firefox release. If regular Firefox is version 154, the Nightly version is 156.
