• The first tab in Firefox is constantly loading and cannot be closed, although I can open mail or change websites in it, I can't do anything from the menu bar in that window.

  I had the same problem. It looks like it's caused by the Aging Tabs ad-on. When I disabled it and restarted Firefox, the problem went away. Do others have the same add-on?
