I cannot update Thunderbird to the latest version because it says "Updates disabled by your system administrator" How do I overcome this problem? Thank you.

I am very tired of being in the middle of browsing a couple of web pages, then the browser decides to close and update without warning.

Initially, firefox denies my profile registered with version 129 (probably) because current version is 130 in this new computer. I succeed in turning back partly to 129 but probably without some files necessary for snap. The profile is OK but firefox works wrong. Updates are no longer possible and Ubuntu proposes to migrate towards version 24.04 LTS. Is either the good way or an other solution exists ? Thanks to best hint.
