Is this where I express my unhappiness with foolish and unnecessary changes to the appearance of Firefox for Android? Please make an option in Settings for square shortcuts. I hate that every icon has to be in a circle now! And you put the word 'Shortcuts' on the homepage. Are you kidding me? That is just clutter! And please let me add more than two lines of shortcuts to the homepage. Swiping to a second homepage to see the rest of my shortcuts is ridiculous. It is better for me to have 10 or 15 lines of shortcuts on one homepage and I can swipe up or down to see them all. Thank you!

Details: When I tap an option in a popup dialog, the popup closes as expected, but the tap also activates the element behind the popup.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open a webpage that shows a popup (dialog or menu).

Tap to open the popup.

Tap one of the options inside the popup.

The popup disappears, but the background element beneath the popup is also triggered. Expected Result: Only the selected popup option should be triggered. The background element should not respond to the tap after the popup closes.

Environment:

OS: Android 15

Firefox version: 142 (Release)

This issue happens consistently.

I couldn’t find any existing reports of this issue, so it may be new.

When I try to write a post on https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/ the web browser breaks.

When the keyboard appears, an equally large space appears above it which is blank, and an extra bar appears at the top of the screen about the size of the status bar at the top. These then do not disappear, on any site, on any tab, until I close the browser completely.

I've not seen it happen on other sites (yet), but I have seen the blank space appear at the top on this site.

It seems to happen almost always, however I've just had to close the browser to get the bottom bit to appear because trying to take a screenshot of it and it decided to only do the top part.

hi I would like to download and install firefox for android which if I understand correctly is named fenix, without going to an app store. I don't see a direct link on the main pages on the website. I noticed at https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/ it looks like it might be possible to get the apk. My concern would be does this violate any terms or licenses? Is this 100 percent ok to do? Also does the firefox owners have anything written answering this? There are websites that imply sideloading firefox might be considered using without permission and I definitely don't want that.

I have been having this issue for a long time. The thread reports that many users have this problem. Evidently it was resolved with the upgrade to 142, but I still have the problem despite running 142.0.1.

And it's not site dependent. Even on this very site. (Attached pic has stayed at that load-- I only got around it by scrolling back through history pages until I found one that has loaded and started this question that way). The page loads somewhere between 25%-75% and then just stops. I prefer to stay on Firefox for the privacy, but more often then not I end up having to switch over to Chrome or DuckDuckGo. Can this please be resolved??

I've tried all the fixes other users have tried, to no avail.

I tried to open up my Firefox browser on my Android phone like a usually do, but today it came up with a message that said, "Unable to connect. Connection is not secure." What do I do???

Hi, I have 3 android devices and 2 linux computers, all with firefox nighly and synced. I deleted the history on my phone (andorid) and would like it to be synced to the other devices again and also get back the history. Is it possible to force sync one way or something like that? Or is there any other way to fix this?

hi so you know how there are shortcuts to help get places faster but the annoying thing is that every time i search something multiable times an auto shortcut is add and i have to delete it this is the annoying part shortcuts should have an option to be manually add only
