I-Firefox iOS Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I had about 500 tabs on FF on my iphone open. The browser crashed and now all of those seem to be gone. "Recently Closed" is empty. Starting the browser just opens an empty page. I had sync turned one but oh magic the synced tabs pretty much immediately diappeared from the other devices as well. Any ideas how I might be able to recover those tabs? Could they still be saved somewhere on the iphone or in the cloud?

Procedure 1. Open Firefox iOS 2. Open some pages 3. Force-close the app 4. Open Firefox again

Expected result - The tabs that previously opened is kept and possible to access

Actual result - The tabs exists, but displaying default new tab page, cannot visit the page - pageback/forward is not working - All tabs are affected

note - By pressing down pageback/forward, there is history which says "internal://local/sessionstore?url=..." is generated. - There are some people on my local app store (JP) complaining the same issue. - After erasing and reinstalling the app, this issue happened again.

The app is almost unusable because of this bug.

I use Fire fox on my ipda to read books (web published manga and light novels) ever since the release of latest version (that has the "New screen") it looses the page I am up to and often revers to a random previous page. for the past 4 year plus I have had numerous (30+) tabs opened to web sites on the current page I am up to in given web sites. this worked almost flawlessly until you change the home screen. The Version I have installed A.T.M. is 113.1(30885) The "New screen" I am referring to has the titles Firebox Browser,Jump Back In, and Recently Saved. If this Screen shows up after moving away from Firefox for a random time (some time short some times long) instead of showing what the tab had on it. if it shows the new screen and I pull down to refresh the screen I may get the web site I had before but it will not be the latest page I was on. I have taken to book marking the latest page I am on since Firefox has become so unreliable. I am also only running 10 tabs because as I loose the sites that I have been reading for years I have been book marking them and closing. I am at the point where I will be moving away from firefox on the iOS devices as Safari, Chrome, and iCab Mobile are more reliable and do not loose my tabs current web page. attached is an example of a page I was reading yesterday and returned to it day, I book marked it. note the chapter numbers. please note the version number of iOS and Firefox have changed a number of times since I notices this fault/bug my device it set to autoupdate.

I've had this problem of on my iPhone 14 Mac Firefox (now v113.2 where )tabs are taking long to delete and they freeze once I try to. After waiting awhile, anywhere up to 30 seconds or more, they either finally delete, but still slow or the app crashes and that seems to make the deletions fast, like they originally used to be. I've seen that other people seem to have this problem and I just wondered if a solution for this has finally been found?

I either have some malware or a bug on my iPhone that only affects my Mozilla account. I will open a tab then try to go back to that tab later and it looks like the pic below with just an “L” in the upper left corner of the tab and when I open it there is nothing there. I’ve cleared my browser hx and even restarted my iPhone several times to try and fix the problem but it’s still there. Any help with how to get rid of this?

In trying to install Firefox on IOS, the authentication codes don't work; the downloaded codes don't work; scanning the QR code doesn't work (on both iphone and ipad). I cannot log onto Firefox on either device. And of course I ultimately get locked out.

Since the latest update I cannot access at least one site P&O cruises nz, the site comes up but is not the correct site. I was getting an error message about Norton security and the url being too long, for that and other sites. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, but still cannot access the correct site. I no longer get the error message, but the site is incorrect. If I use safari it comes up with the correct site.

In the image attached, I’m trying to scroll through the search suggestions given by “Firefox Suggest”. However, when I try to swipe up in the red circled area, instead of scrolling down, I only click on the page shown in the red circled area. This behavior is new and was not always there. I could previously scroll down while swiping up in the red-circled area. Also, in the red-circled area, it looks like there is a longer list of "Firefox Suggest" options that the keyboard is covering, but I can't get access to this longer list because I can't swipe up. What should I do to fix this?

Phone and Firefox up to date. This is NOT immediately after iOS update nor after a Firefox update. I have settings confirmed that should keep me in private browsing. Triple checked this. Even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and reestablished proper settings.

I’ll be browsing in a private browser, will re-open Firefox and SOMETIMES, not always, I’ll be in a non-private browser.

I got a problem using Mozilla Firefox with iPadOS on my Apple iPad Pro 12,9 M1 with Apple Magic Keyboard.

The problem is about the “right click“ on a link on a page, it’s intermittent, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. If I open a page and want to open a link in a new tab, I tap the link with two fingers or with one finger and control. When it doesn’t work, at first I got to long tap the link on the touchscreen to show the right click menu to open the link in a new tab. After this procedure I can use the two fingers tap or control tap to open the right click menu.

I hope you can give me some clues to resolve the problem.

Nord threw me out, every time I click login it displays cookies are not enabled.

I have tried tracking on and off. It makes no difference. I have reported to Nord.

They’re asking me to install 2 cloudshare dns on my phone. I don’t want that. Is there anything I can do the fire fox end pls.

version 113.2 — logged me out of sync

says “enter password to sync” i enter my password, my profile flickers back to the blank face and refuses to sign me in and now i have no access to my passwords, reading list or bookmarks

i uninstalled and reinstalled and it does the same thing but now it just says “sync to save data”

I’m having difficulty with Firefox on an iPad mini fifth generation running iOS 16.4.1 and today’s version of Firefox. I’ve used Firefox for years with Duck Duck Go as search engine with no problem. Today without warning Firefox stopped accepting URLs typed into the search bar from the Homepage (or any page). It simply ignores the typing and flickers momentarily, keeping the existing URL and page. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, changing the default search engine from Duck Duck Go to Firefox, and changing from a custom homepage to the Firefox homepage. No luck. Please advise.

Recently Firefox has failed to restore many of the tabs used in previous sessions.

I think since the same time, a white L on a blue background has appeared on loading the page, temporarily replacing the normal page icon.

When I log into my credit card website, I type my username and password. Password manager S to save password when logging back in again it shows me the username and password field filled in but the website does not except the login data. Even if I retype it manually if I go into password manager delete the saved password and user ID and then go back to the password, login screen and retype my login it except it then only to repeat the same sequence whereas we did receive the password. Using iPhone SE ver 2, 2nd gen. 13.1. Please respond to [removed email from public forum]

I have Firefox 113.x on an iPad 10 with iOS 16.4.1. My login/passwords are not saving. Save Password is on. I checked SAVE on a new site. Not saving on iPad, but will save on an iPhone 8 running iOS 16.4.1.

I’ve followed the instructions for turning off Firefox suggestions, but have a couple that continue to show. They are not bookmarks.

I’ve tried deleting browsing history.
