Hello there,

since the latest Updates, especially firefox 145 (63787) the performance in the tab overview is pretty bad. Closing a tab there needs up to 5 seconds. While the tab is closing the whole interface is unresponsive. switching between tabs from the overview results in the same performance issue. It does not matter if I swipe to close or close with the little "x". It always takes several seconds.

Seems to be a problem with the overview because switching between tabs by swiping the address bar is smooth.

I tried reinstalling firefox, but that did not solve the problem.

I'm using the latest firefox for iOS Version on an iphone 15 Pro with iOS 18.7.1

Thanks for your help.

I'm trying to access Microsoft login page using Firefox as my default browser on iOS. This isn't possible until I enable JavaScript but where do I do this?

I've tried about:config however the search engine, DuckDuckGo, kicks in and does a search for " about:config"

I have found that over the last several weeks when trying to access sites that are local on my network from my iPhone or iPad like Jellyfin, Proxmox for example, that after every time I restart my device I will have to go into Settings and disable then re-enable the Local Network access setting for Firefox for it to load the site correctly. I do not have any issues getting to the sites when using Safari. This issue was first noticed in iOS 26.0.1 and has continued now that I am on 26.1. Firefox is currently on the latest version and has been updated many times throughout the weeks within a couple of days of the updates releasing. I do not have this issue when using Firefox on macOS.

-iCloud Private Relay is disabled completely for my devices. -Limit IP address tracking is turned off for my network. -Allow cross-website tracking is disabled in Settings for Firefox (and has always been). -Custom DNS servers are set at the router and issued directly. -I have signed out of Firefox, uninstalled the app and reinstalled a couple of times now with no changes.

I’ve been having issues with Firefox on iOS. As you can see on the screenshots, the URL bar section expands on blocks half off my screen. When I scroll down the URL bar is hidden and the issue disappears but when I scroll up the same issue returns. It doesn’t seem to be specific to a certain website and is really disruptive.

I’m using an iPhone SE, iOS version 26.0.1, Firefox is updated.

Hello. I get the following error message when I try and do a search on Google. Seems to be something new. Also happening on my ipad. I don’t recall changing any settings. Any help appreciated.

Google 403. That’s an error.

Your client does not have permission to get URL /search?client=firefox-b-m&q=screwfix from this server. That’s all we know.

I don’t remember from when, but after some point of an update of Firefox for iOS, whenever I type something in Korean into address bar for quick search, it automatically changes my inputs to English and extra character appends at the front. This will cause great inconvenience for Korean users. I hope Mozilla team fix this problem soon.

I have been using Firefox since I first started using computers, so for over fifteen years. Initially, I only used it on my PC, but for the past few years I have also been using it on my iPhone and iPad. Until now, I have been a very satisfied user, but for some time now I have been extremely dissatisfied with Mozilla and Firefox. I have been using Startpage as my search engine for many years and Firefox is set up that way on all my devices. But on Apple devices, every time I open the browser, Google is now set as the search engine again and I have to correct the setting every time. I find this patronising, inconsiderate and extremely rude. If this cannot be changed very quickly, Firefox will no longer be my default browser on any device. I would be very sorry to see that happen, but it really is not acceptable. Are you so short of money that you have to rip off your long-standing users? I would be very grateful for a reasonable and helpful response.
