When I launch Firefox iOS for mobile and press on any of my pinned favorites, nothing happens. To actually access the pinned favorites or recently accessed browser pages it is now a 3-step process instead of 1. The first step is to press AND hold the favorite you want to access. When depressed, a menu of options appears which gives the user the option to choose “Open in new tab.” When the “Open in New Tab” option is chosen a blue banner appears below that reads “Open in new tab” at which point the favorite or recently visited site opens up. This had been going on for months until about a week ago but is back again and it is annoying!!!

open downloaded pdf from "download tab" in new tab always. Opening in the same last tab, destroys the opened tab which often not support back option e. g. Banking websites.

Pls give option of new tab opening of downloaded files.

When logged into a synched account, my Firefox for iOS has been crashing for 2 days. iOS version 18.7.1. First started when I attempted to send a page from my iMac desktop to my iphone. It didn't send, so I attempted again. Still didn't work. Firefox for iOS started crashing when attempting to open a new tab. Then it progressed to crashing whenever I attempt to open Firefox. I then proceeded to:

• Restart phone
• Dump all cache & cookies etc. in iOS Firefox
• Remove iOS Firefox and install new version

However, whenever I sign back into my synched account, the crashing starts again.

So for now just staying signed out of Firefox for iOS, and it's working fine. Hoping this gets fixed somehow in the future, future, future...

After I sync it with the Firefox browser on my laptop it crashes on my iPhone. I've done everything from updating my phone software to updating the app. Restarting and deleting and reinstalling and resyncing the accounts. Once I sync it the phone app crashes. I prefer to have Firefox as my default browser but now I'm having second thoughts.

143.1 updated onto my app this morning and now the app refuses to load. It opens for a second and sometimes begins to show the browsing interface and then it immediately crashes. All subsequent attempts to open the app have failed. I've deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted my phone and that has not fixed the issue.

Transient issue where the top of the page overlaps with the task bar (whatever it's called on the iPad) so the plus sign for new tab is under the iPad's battery indicator. Can't close tabs. Seems to happen when reopening the iPad, usually corrects after a few times of switching apps, but very inconsistent. Deleted and reinstalled app, but problem continues. Others have reported the issue.

Do not know how to explain but since ios26 up date ipad tab bar and screen ( notification at top ) and ipad bar collide and makes using it impossible as cannot access tabs see screen shot . Dont know how to explain. I have to quit go back in works for a few then does it again. Will only let me post the facebook example. Have call into apple just wondering if firefox is not working with new update. Srry for the lousy explanation

I use Firefox (generally the latest release, currently 143.0.1 for iOS) on my iPhone 15 ProMax which is running iOS 26. The issue has happened for some time and is not tied to these versions.

I have PrivacyPro by Disconnect installed and every now and then I notice in the Activity tab that a great many, if not all of the domains that I have saved bookmarks for have been contacted. I noticed today that this happened following contacts to profile.accounts.firefox.com and mozilla.map.fastly.net.

Is there a way to turn this off? In most cases, I've been to the site at some point, but I would rather not have my system 'pinging' them routinely. It's not an out and out security concern, just seems peculiar.
