I get scam messages that say "Trojan virus detected!" on Mozilla Firefox which I cannot delete. I have run antivirus scans which show there is no virus or malware. I have shut down the desk top. How can I go to reinstall Mozilla Firefox default settings or do you have another solution?

When working hints on Ancestry.com, under certain conditions a second scrollbar is generated to the immediate left of the right hand scrollbar. This second scrollbar is used to move downward in the hint compare area on the right hand side of the open page. When running under Firefox on Windows 11 systems "this second scrollbar is not there"! Everything works fine using any other browsers (EDGE, Chrome, Brave), but not Firefox! Works fine on Windows 10 systems. I have tried this on 3 different Windows 11 computers with the same failed results.

How can i download a pdf of my passwords. I think i need to set up a lock screen first. Please give precise instructions how to accomplish both these tasks. Im having great difficulty signing in and out of sites so until i figure out how and why things have changed i need a list of passwords. My device is currently unlocked. I have trouble finding my way back to my questions here. Why doesnt firefox have a history function? Sometimes it does but its not recent. I put all these questions together because its too difficult finding my way back to every individual question. I have a hundred questions about firefox so many that its daunting to consider as it would take me days to do and its time i dont have. I keep getting messages from the Sun Sentinel through Mozilla-Firefox and I don't want them.

How do I stop them?

I went to the security tab and see the list of exceptions and the Sun-sentinel.com website does not exist.

In previous versions of Firefox (up to version 133), it was possible to automatically trigger printing of a PDF file by loading it into an iframe from a sandboxed iframe and call print. However, starting with version 134, this no longer works.

Is there any other way to automatically trigger the print dialog for a PDF file in Firefox, similar to how it can be done in Chrome/Edge (e.g., by opening the PDF in a new window and directly triggering the print dialog without additional button clicks)?

I've recently begin to receive pop-up notifications from Facebook, but when I choose to stop them, it doesn't. It takes me to Facebook and the notifications keep coming. How do I stop them?

Why is my browser stating that it is managed by my organisation.

I keep getting 'notifications' from Mozilla Firefox that McAfee has discovered a virus, Trojan, and other things. They come on the lower right corner of my screen and the address d3mj6kghubcc73dtudhg.kaironero.co.in is along the bottom of the notification. The notifications pop up every time I turn on my computer and go into Firefox and they just keep coming after I dismiss them. They are in small rectangles and have Mozilla Firefox written across the top left and say that McAfee has discovered.... Are they legit or are they spam and how do I stop them? I don't have McAfee installed on my computer which is a desktop. Please help--this is driving me crazy!!!

Hello: FF dev 150b5,w11p. With this v 150 there's a new irritant that I would like to stop, please. That's the sudden (starting w/v150 again) appearance on lower L corner, of a popup window, which may be interactive. That is, this thing is so new I can't say more about it except that I didn't change anything to make this thing appear, & this didn't happen in prev.versions.

I looked in settings & the only thing on keyword "popup" goes to, in "search results", is: "block popups & 3rd party redirects." I already had that choice checked from previous versions (that is, do block). But this new popup appeared (unasked) anyway.

Is there an extension that will stop these? If so, what keyword(s) do I put into the "search extensions" box to find the extension(s)?

Also, w/this new "wonder" of unasked-for popups -- is this another "coming w/AI" feature I will have to live with?

I did a search here on "popups" before posting,but came up w/nothing relevant.

/edit:fixed a formatting issue causing horizontal scrolling

I am seeing pop up ads like these on the lower right corner of my screen since I updated to windows 11. I've never seen this with windows 10. Microsoft is telling me these are coming through my browser. These are not when I am in a web site and get the pop up to allow notifications, I always say no. These come @ 1 per week or less and I don't seem to be able to stop them. Is there a setting in firefox that will stop them or is this a microsoft issue? thanks brian
