Recently clicked to update to the next version of Firefox. Then I get the message "Restart to Update Firefox." I restart Firefox but the message is still there when I click Help > About Firefox. It would appear that the update did not happen for some reason. Do I need to re-install Firefox to get around this problem?

My PC was accidently got blue screen of death and cannot boot window anymore only way is reinstall window. and then I sing in to my mozilla account but I forgot my password so I have to reset it. but I didn't know that you have change the sync system that need to use recover key and yes now I lost all my 10years sync. this cannot recover anymore? or how can I recover it. Honestly this recover key thing is shit in google chrome you won't lost anything from reset the password. this make me really sad and upset. so is there any way to get my sync back? or it lost forever? if it lost forever I would say goodbye to firefox thanks.

This problem first occurred with the update from V 135.0.1 to V 136.0 . Currently on V 136.0.4, and every update has exhibited the same behavior.

I have the same issue with two laptops, running Windows 10. Each has been through a few update cycles, and the "Restart to Update" always fails.

So, I close FF, watch for the Resource Monitor to quiet down, and reopen FF.

When I go through this sequence, I notice that the screen will flash once VERY quickly before opening the home page.

FF seems to function normally otherwise.

My PC is old, uses Windows 7, and I have been using Ancestry.com successfully until recently. It opens properly on my Laptop, but not my PC where the majority of photos and documents are currently stored. Is there something I am doing wrong? I am not super tech savvy and one suggestion was to "allow Ancestry" but I have no clue how to do that.

After your update I can no longer sign in to my Big Fish Account which was working on 4/7/25. When I signed out of Big Fish 4/7/25 and tried to sign in today to the Big Fish account it no longer works? Would your update have done this????? I cannot receive a page from the copyright office because they say I have a popup blocker preventing it. How do I find it to turn it off. It is not in the system settings when searched. Help please.

Здравствуйте, у меня возникла проблема: пользуюсь браузером с компьютера, в какой то момент , каждый раз при закрытии окна все аккаунты на всех сайтах разлогиниваются. Приходится каждый раз везде снова авторизоваться. В чем может быть проблема? Где то капался в настройках, разрешал сохранение cookies но это так и не помогло, может быть я просто не все места нашёл и не везде передвинул бегунки.... Вроде в некоторых браузерах бывает такая настройка, специальная. Если она есть в фаер фоксе - скажите, пожалуйста, как её отключить? Если её нет - подскажите какие ещё могут быть варианты?

When I scroll some sites with the touchpad, it doesn’t scroll smooth like on windows. It scroll brutally 3 lines after 3 lines. I can’t scroll a half line for example. Even if I activate “smooth scrolling”, it doesn’t scroll with the precision and the speed of the hand. I don’t if It’s a mistake in the code of gecko or in the code of firefox but could somebody fix it?

之前用的老版本firefox浏览器，注册和登录的是firefox账户，并且绑定了邮箱。自从账户升级为mozilla账户后，要求重新注册新账户，新账户我用的也是相同邮箱，但是系统并未提示我账户信息迁移或者邮箱已经被注册使用。mozilla账户是全新的账户，没有任何之前firefox账户的信息，firefox账户上使用记录和保存书签也完全没有。 现在我要如何将之前firefox账户里面的信息转移到mozilla账户里面，或者浏览器firefox账户的登录端口在哪里，不想用Mozilla账户。

I can no longer reach the bill pay portion in my Regions Bank account. I turn off ETP and have communicated with the bank yet the issue remains. Is there a fix? I don't want to leave Firefox and Duck Duck Go and use Google.

I am no longer given the option of being able to scroll through my open instances of Firefox. When using my primary smaller horizontal monitor, it only shows 28 open instances. When making my larger vertical monitor the primary monitor, I can see 62 open instances (Not Tabs). Either way, the little arrow no longer pops up under the open instances list allowing me to be able to scroll to what instance I want to view.
