Please look into fixing this problem. What is the purpose of the web search bar in the middle of the screen if it cannot be used? There is a setting that allows it to be there but nothing that can make it a default search bar. The address/search bar up top is always the default no matter what I've tried. It's nerve wracking to see something there you can't use. If there is something I can do to fix this please let me know.

Hi How can I find and merge duplicated bookmarks in "Other Bookmarks". I've looked at some answers on the web but none seem to say anything about merging within a folder

Hello. How on earth I disable updates? I tried in about:config, but there - the updates come back. So how I disable uploads completely? The second question is: Why do you have so many updates? I don't wanna be the slave to your updates, I don't wanna be the slave to your updates so badly that I will risk all security and everything in my life just to get rid of them! Why? Why? How can I disable updates? I don't want you to touch my computer digitally ever again! Please advise. Otherwise, I am completely leaving Mozilla after 30+ years of usage. And turning to some completely other browser that is not based on google engine and doesn't need more than one update monthly, and if, that I am aiming that for long. Some commercial sites will not accept my credit card payment because they say my browser is out of date. Many other sites are accepting and processing my orders. How do I rectify this problem?

After years of using Firefox and accessing my grocery store online for the weekly ad and specials it suddenly says shows me this when I try to open the website:

An error occurred during a connection to www.dillons.com.

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

When I look for solutions it tells me there is no way to allow this website to open now. What is going on? I don't care if it's a secure connection, it's just a grocery store ad.

I had a Firefox update I believe last Friday 16th August. This resulted in a disastrous event whereby an error message displayed: error message 129. I finally managed to open a version of Firefox but I had lost all my bookmarks and open tabs. I also had to sign in to all existing websites which I had previously automatically had access to. The strange thing was that the version of Firefox that I had opened was from 2022 sometime because of the data that appeared. I am totally devastated by the loss of my bookmarks. :( What can you do to help?

First of all, I have already changed my about:config browser.search.region preference to GB.

When I try to install the amazon search engine for amazon.CO.UK, via the magnifying glass on the search bar, I get this message.

Something out of the ordinary occurred the other day when my copy of Firefox no longer was able to connect to the internet. A bit of searching revealed that my Mac system no longer compatible with Firefox 115.4

The Mozilla website clearly showed that older Mac systems, such as 10.12 10.13 and 10.14 were no longer able to work with the latest Firefox update and to download Firefox 115 ESR version.

After starting it up the newer version just showed a brand new version without any of my often used bookmarks, extensions, history etc.

I believe it’s possible to return all those often used elements to my everyday browser experience but just how, befuddles me! Perhaps there is a website detailing this information?

t's been a nightmare. My Firefox keeps crashing, and it's driving me crazy! I can be in the middle of something important, like researching for a project or catching up on my https://dpforboys.com/ favorite shows, and suddenly, bam, it's closed. No error message, just gone.

I've tried everything I can think of:

Reinstalled Firefox multiple times Cleared cache and cookies Disabled extensions one by one Updated my graphics drivers Checked for malware Nothing seems to work. It's like Firefox has a mind of its own, and it's determined to make my life difficult. I'm starting to think it's a hardware issue, but I'm not sure.

I need help! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was wonder when the next browser update may be come as I would like to watch YouTube on Firefox again. As it has been over a month since the last update that made it so YouTube doesn't load the video anymore. (I have tried every suggestion online to correct this and nothing)
