Same problem again with upgrade. After the last upgrade today 9-5-2022 I no longer have video play back on sites such as MSNBC, CNN or Twitter. U-Tube seems to be working fine. I have checked and have version 5.0.1 of ffmpg installed if that helps. And I have turned off ad blockers. Firefox 104.0.1 in Fedora 36 workstation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attempted to restore my bookmarks from the Manage Bookmarks tab using Restore and selecting the available option (only 1 available), but it fails to restore my bookmarks. I lost history and passwords as well. I am running Firefox 104.0.2 on a 2015 Apple Macbook Pro. This is also the case on my 2018 Apple Macbook Pro as well.

 Also cannot restore from Old Firefox Data that is on my Desktop.

 I rarely use the 2018 Macbook, so this must be due to a software update of some sort since it is effecting both machines.

I seem to have no control over what shortcuts appear on my opening tap page. Some sites are appearing there I have not accessed or have no account with. I am not sure how these merchants are accessing FF. I refreshed and also tried a few things I've found here and no luck. How do I remove shortcuts I do not want and stop sites from adding shortcuts?

I have Logins & Passwords (about:logins) as a bookmark in my toolbar. Sometimes you need to look up a password. I opened about:logins in a new tab and there is nothing there. No content, whatsoever.

I AM logged into Firefox. No, I haven't installed any security features recently. My history and my bookmarks are all intact. When I go to a previously visited site, I DO get the prompt for my user name and it DOES supply the password. It's only about:logins where no data at all is displaying. I can't search, it isn't showing me anything.

I tried to export passwords from about:logins but it didn't work, that is, I thankfully actually remembered my Firefox password and it prompted a csv download, but nothing was saved (presumably because there is no content within about:logins) to generate into a csv.

Now what?

Websites like Jira, GitHub, and Outlook that have dark themes are no longer usable for some reason. They worked fine yesterday, then today when I logged in they become unusable due to their colors being completely off. Lots of white text on white backgrounds where there used to not be white backgrounds, dark text on dark backgrounds where the text used to be white, buttons having inverted colors for some reason. If I switch them from dark theme to light theme, they work fine and the colors are correct. Very weird behavior, and makes Firefox unusable for me.

I am on Ubuntu for what its worth, and I made sure that my color settings are not set to "Never" override website colors. I tried all the different "Firefox Themes" and those had no impact on the issue. I have attached an image of what I am seeing when I visit GitHub.com.

Hi all,

Had my text font changed all of a sudden. I'm not sure if I've accidentally pressed a shortcut to change any setting.

Image attached also show that this change has caused some misaligned numbers on a browser.

Is there a way to revert text to my previous settings?

Today, I noticed that fonts on sites look different than normal. At first I noticed that font looked smaller, but zoom is set to actual size. Then I noticed that while on a site with a black background the text was displaying as black also, making it impossible to read. I looked through the preferences and everything pertaining to fonts and colors appears to still be set to default. Next thing I tried was opening the same site in private window. While in the private window, the font and color appears as it should.

Any ideas how to fix this?

All of a sudden, after waking my computer from sleep, I found that many websites in Firefox are displaying the main text content at 13px, ignoring font sizes specified in CSS etc. I first discovered this on my organization's website, I thought it was a browser cache issue, but it has persisted. The text content on our front page is all the correct size, but everything on the website that is "main content" text that is not in a heading tag, like blog post or regular page content, is rendered at 13px. Other sites like Wikipedia load this way as well. In private mode, the issue disappears. In Chrome, the issue does not occur.

I have cleared all cookies, browser cache, site data, history, and the problem persists. I have checked the default font settings in Firefox, the checkbox saying websites should override the font settings is already checked. Zoom is set to 100%. I updated to the latest version in the course of restarting, and it didn't fix the issue either.

In the attached screenshot, the examples on the left are in regular Firefox windows. On the top right, a page on our site is displayed correctly in Firefox private mode. In the bottom right, Wikipedia is displayed correctly in Google Chrome.

I haven't changed anything except for Firefox auto-updating to version 104.0.2 this morning but now some sites with dark mode are nearly unreadable (see attached screens 1-2 of Twitch and Giant Bomb, respectively), and others have had their default text size rapidly shrink (see screen 3 of a Wikipedia page), with no warning. What was fine yesterday is no longer working correctly today. I tried disabling and re-enabling different extensions and clearing my whole browser cache and that does not seem to have helped. Is there any explanation or quick fix for these issues on the way or a way I can roll back to 104.0.1 until the problem has been solved?

PS: I'm also using the latest version of Windows 10 and my video card (Radeon RTX 480) drivers and neither have had any updates in the past 24 hours.

Yesterday on Fox News chat the space between words suddenly started disappearing. The space bar will move the cursor only once, then the next letter typed will not space. It only does it in Firefox, not in any other browser. The problem has not presented itself in any other app or in windows. Any solutions?

As of today, I'm seeing black text on the black background of every site with a dark theme, including Google Search and Github

Switching the Website Appearance config setting between Firefox Theme, System Theme, Dark, or even Light does not change the colour of the text

I was browsing a site when suddenly most of the text got almost unreadably small. I was just scrolling and I don't think I had my hand on the keyboard so I don't think I accidentally activated a shortcut. I checked on another site and I noticed it's now a different font than it was before. I tried reloading firefox and my laptop and it didn't change anything. What did I change? My default font setting is lora, which isn't the font things have changed to

When I open a email which contains an url like https://link.domain.com using sendgrid.com's service, I get a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN error.

An example of such an url is https://link.intersport.fi. The domain starting with link is a service provided by sendgrid.com to be used in email advertising.

The issue is not specific to intersport.fi but to any domain using sendgrid's link service.

The strange thing is that Chrome and Edge are totally happy with link.domain.extension.

What is your take on this?

So I re-imported my bookmarks after losing them with the double profiles issue (which didn't fix my partial page loading problem permanently so if you know about that it would be helpful) but now I can't remove old ones or add new ones. I've tried deleting them with the right-click menu and using the star by the address for both adding and deleting. They open just fine but that's all.

I get the following message from the Royal Mail website:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.royalmail.com/" on this server.

Have never had this problem before, but can access their site if I use Edge.

I do not know how I did it, but I managed to remove my bookmarks from the my tool bar and tried every answer I could find in the support topics. I use the bookmarks constantly and I need some help... I am lost.

on some pages google/twitch some fonts are dark on dark theme, refreshing pages, changing themes (using default mozilla dark theme) doesnt fix it... so it sometimes disturb me .
