Hello, I need a bit of help. Specs: FireFox 127.0.2, Apple Silicon M2, Sonoma. For some reason in my privacy & security settings with enhanced tracking protection, it's set on Standard which I believe is the default but after some time passes it switches itself to Strict, or Custom settings, then none of my pages load properly or not at all. Can someone tell me how I can get it to stay on the Standard?

Hello, In order to log into Netflix I have to uncheck the Cookies box and Private Browsing box in Privacy and Security under Settings (I usually run with these enabled when just browsing). When I do this it asks for a Restart. Upon Restart the Netflix Login page always appears on its own. I am curious as to how Firefox is getting steered to the Netflix Login page when it is not being specifically told to go there. I assume it is somehow tied to the unchecked boxes. It's not a big deal to me but I am curious about what is going on in the background and the dynamics involved. If someone has the time to explain what is happening I would appreciate it. I have a local web server which is misconfigured. Its my server, its on my LAN, and no data traverses any devices not under my control. I need to be able to access it via HTTPS with an expired certificate in order to FIX THE EXPIRE CERTIFICATE. How do I do it? Firefox used to have a "accept the risk and continue". Whoever took this feature aware has created a very significant problem for me and I want the capability back.

The password I've been using to access my stored payment methods is suddenly not working. I've tried using my Master (sorry, Primary) password and this doesn't work either

I add 2FA whenever possible. I was adding a new website yesterday and was unable to: FireFox (v. 127.0.2 on 64-bit Windows 10) was showing "Log in with Facebook" that was blocking one of the squares on the QR code! So I had to enter the many characters that were presented in order to add the 2FA code to Authy!

I looked in the settings and couldn't find anyway to turn that off.

How can this be fixed?

Sometime in the last few months, Firefox (Developer Edition) stopped allowing redirects and links to file://-protocol URLs. Is there a way to re-enable this for my personal browser, e.g. via about:config or the like?

I need to know if this is a safe website for my identity as I've been a victimizing that and I don't need nobody knowing what I'm typing and what I'm googling so I say looking up on the Internet my phone is messed up and I'm taking it back to Cricket today because there was apps installed on my phone that I did not install the security issue and I need to know if this is legit and safe website to use to keep hackers out of my stuff.

I've been having consistent trouble getting firefox to save my passwords. I'm signed in, have all the password-managing options enabled, and I import my passwords from chrome (which I've wanted to stop using) but my saved passwords tab is always empty. The next time I use firefox and I'm logged out, it's all wiped clean. When I try to synchronize my settings and passwords after importing again, nothing happens when I click Synchronize.

I've restarted the browser many times, opened it in Troubleshoot Mode (here I was able to import, save my passwords and synchronize just fine), went on to disable all my extensions one by one, themes, and hardware acceleration, but when I opened the browser normally, the problem persisted. I don't know what to do at this point!

This has been going on for a length of times, the Privacy app or window keeping changing when I used it. This morning, it started back when trying to close it to go to another website. Also, the middle part of the privacy screen keeping changing.

Firefox is not secure because there is something going on every day with the settings. They keep changing on me.

Hello. I have window10. I have primary password which must entered before accessing any site. or the last 3days my computer asks me repeatedly to enter my primary password. and the circle goes on.

So I am unable to use my computer.

Any time I try to connect to the internet, Firefox claims either I am offline or the connection is not secure. I know I have a connection as I can access the support site and every other website on an entirely different browser. I have tried refreshing the page, double-checking Firefox is allowed through the firewall, cleared cache, cleared all cookies and site data, nothing I've done is working. Firefox just randomly stopped connecting a few days ago and I had the same issue with Google Chrome last month, which is when I made the switch to Firefox.

If anyone knows anything that could maybe help, that would be great. Thank you so much!

I am trying to get FF Windows to use my fingerprint scanner to authenticate the password manager functions. When I select the Subject option in Settings, then select More Options, I only see options for PIN or "Use Different Account". If I use a PIN to enable this option, then disable the option, I get a choice to select to Fingerprint or PIN. Is this a bug, or by design? I would like to always use fingerprint to access the password manager vs. PIN.

I'm very frustrated being a novice PC user! I Suspect a PC repair Co., that has had remote access to my PC in the past of some how accessing my Private network of 7 device's and making sure that some where on my network any of several app's they have used before to take remote access of my PC! I first noticed a problem after this co. initially set up my network. I would be on my PC and see the Any desk app soft ware. So I did uninstall the any desk app where ever I saw it on my network. This co. would call me and tell me to be sure and take advantage of their monthly tune up. Keep in mind I was scared into purchasing 3 year support package. I turned on my PC today,after using Google as my default Browser for a long time. I decided to try Firefox I was very disappointed to see that Firefox had been set up and the third bookmark was something called Take Remote. This Co. Is still in Business and my account is active. In my opinion I believe that all HACKER'S should have their hand's CUT OFF. Again I am a novice user, But for some one who use's their knowledge and their Company to prey on people like me, There Should be consequence's!!! I Would Greatly Appreciate any help or Advice you could help me with!

I appreciate very much the recent security changes in Firefox 127, about mixed content. I think it really does improve both security and privacy, but I have HTTPS websites in a local network (private IP addresses) that load some images from a local IP camera over HTTP. I do not have control over these IP camera images, so as a temporary workaround I am allowing the whole website to be delivered over plain HTTP.

It's not a huge security issue, because it's on a local network which I access over the Internet via a VPN, but I would prefer to keep the website on HTTPS and allow mixed content for this specific IP address, so to keep the protection fully enabled when I browse the Internet.

Is there a way to enter a specific IP address in an exception list, so to selectively allow mixed content? Or, in alternative, is it possible to specify that all web requests from private IP addresses (RFC 1918) should allow mixed content?
