Attached is an image of the issue. I've looked around online and found people with similar issues, though not that exact fault. At first I was concerned about viruses but I've run multiple virus scans of my computer and there's no other signs I'd associate with one, so I assume it's another variation on that problem. It happens randomly, no specific triggers I can think of. I use three Firefox profiles, and it's happened on two of them. A ton of search results (the attached is just one example, the top results of reddit had this as well) will have seemingly random words replaced like this. This also occured on a page in my university's website. When I try to copy these, they copy as their original words and not the weird symbols. I'm very confused, basically. It doesn't go away on reload, ctrl+shift+r, or cache clearing, but closing and reopening the tab fixes it.

For several weeks the Dashlane addon has been failing to function and customer service has failed to respond to all messages. Signing on was a simple matter of entering user email address, then the password. For several weeks entering user email address opens a required instruction to enter a code number set instead of the password, saying the code was sent to the email address. The email number perpetually never arrives. Neither do responses to email notices/inquires directly sent to Dashlane. Has Elon Musk fired everybody at Dashlane or is Trump in charge?

how does one, who's brain was hammered into a smudge during a near death episode, handle all this wonderful looking updates/changes that you have made... ? I have loved using Firefox for a long time and the new items and methods entice me to try harder. but even finding how to ask this question was hard to ferret out the passage I should look for. I'm not writing to make people feel sorry for me - it is now a fact of my life that it's not as easy as it once was. well, maybe I could handle some sympathy. but a few hints could be useful. hey! that's it. how do I cajole my own brain's app to assist not run away in fright? I find the Troubleshooting information in share data is something for my grandchildren - not me: especially in the manner it is rushed through. k ps: apologies for my grizzles but I need my brain for puzzles when I'm building trees for friends and relations in ancestry.com

I use duckduckgo page for search in Firefox. Hate my search terms hopping up to the address bar. How to stop this?

A previous search on this question came up with a solution which doesn't work, at least not with latest Firefox version (139.0.1 (64-bit).

I.e., type in searchBar "about:config"

   Accept warning
Search "browser.urlbar.suggest.searches" and change it to false (Do this Only if you want to disable suggesions)
Search "keyword.enabled" and change it to false
Search "browser.urlbar.suggest.searches" and change it to false

DOESN'T WORK.

For about 2 weeks I have been unable to access my Portfolio in Yahoo Finance. I get this message: "There was an error while loading your portfolio data. Please try again."

However, if I load Google Chrome, then go to Yahoo Finance I can get to my Portfolio. I don't prefer how it displays but at least I can see my different folders and their current performance.

Do I have a setting in Firefox that is preventing me from access My Portfolio? I have contacted Yahoo and only got a response that they are working on it and would correct and get back to me. No response and follow up contacts have not gotten even and acknowledgement. I think problem is with Firefox since I can access the Yahoo info that I want thru Google.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do??? Problem started about when you change your Firefox software to it's new display, which I don't like BTW. I had it all set up for the news feeds and arrangements that I used for years and found very accessible. Firefox has always been my default browser but I am finding it increasingly un-user friendly.

Thx for any help you can give me. Karen

Hi I'm having an issue with a website that has always worked in the past with Firefox with no issues. The issue is displaying the following message when I try to view the page: "Secure Connection Failed"

"Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING" This is a personal website that I've had up for years and it works with all browsers except Firefox for some reason now. It was if as a light switch flipped. It worked one night and the next morning it came up with this error. My web hosting provider checked it and said everything was good on their end. The site in question is for a band and has no sales or requirements any kind of personal information for people to view it. The website is www.cherokeehighway.com Can you please advise me? Thank you.

So I just noticed after downloading the new update to Firefox, version 139.0.1 that something new came up in my task manager called Crashhelper. Never seen this before. Closed it down and it seemed to have no issues shutting down at least. I haven't had Firefox crash in recent months, so I'm assuming that this cropping up might be a glitch of some kind? I looked this up to see if anyone else had this issue, and it seems someone on Reddit did encounter this, on Linux, and another on Windows also seems to have run into it. How do we stop this from coming up whenever we start up the browser?
