Hi,

I set Firefox as default browser on the OS, and I'm running two instances of Firefox on OSX, one is on a sockv5 tunnel for work and one is not proxied, for private browsing.

When clicking on links on other applications, say office, I don't get to decide which instance the link opens on. The instance links open on is randomly set after booting my computer and each time I boot it seems getting randomly set.

Is there a way to configure the default instance that links should be opened on?

Since the update last week I've had trouble loading pictures or even connecting to some websites. I cleared the cache but still have problems, especially with Facebook, but many others also.

Anytime I click a link in Firefox...whether it is in a search result OR in my email OR on a website...two duplicated tabs open every time. I noticed this was an issue a few years ago but it appears to have returned after the latest Firefox update last week. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you, Brian

Since several days I have problems in using my mail-account at web.de The website starts and I can log in. But then my mails don't open up like they should. I called web.de and they said I shoud use another browser. And really when I use Microsoft Edge it is much better. I would like to use Firefox on my desktop further on. Could you give me a hint?

Hey there! System: Windows 10 x64, Firefox Nightly.

Problem: Out of the blue, when I start Firefox Nightly (I think 2-3 days ago), it just crashed with no extra info. I see the "window of the update process", it goes to the middle or to the end, immediately closes and doesn't bring up the Crash reporter. However! When I tried to run a Nightly Installer that I downloaded through Chrome, it quietly runs and then just opens up my browser no problem, profile and all. I checked and it seems to be the exact same .exe file (according to the Task Manager).

So in short: it breaks if I run it straight from my usual shortcut, or with .exe. But if I run the installer myself, the browser opens up fine.

However, the installer didn't bring any new updates that would fix the problem, I have this for 2-3 days now, I don't remember. I start working, I see I didn't fix it and run the installer again.

Any ideas on the fix? I would love to not lose my profile, settings and, if possible, tabs. I'll try disabling all the extensions after I post this, I don't think they contribute, though (seeing how the external Firefox Nightly Installer opens up my browser just fine).

i have a new Lenovo Yoga laptop. Previous laptop was a Yoga laptop. I could log in to Spotify with the previous laptop. I still can. I can't log in to Spotify on new laptop. I am being forced to log in with Microsoft Edge, which I hate! I read that I may need a Firefox add-on. What add-on? Help.

I've been having an issue recently with firefox where video players often won't load, and when they do load they are typically very slow to load even at low quality. It is affecting Youtube and Twitch.tv among others, but the videos play fine in Edge. I've tried clearing the cache, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshoot mode, and re-installing to no avail. As far as i can tell it probably started when 131.0 released.

All bookmarks have disappeared from the bookmarks bar under the address bar. The bar itself is displayed, View—Toolbars—Bookmarks bar—Always show is enabled, but it is empty, although I had a lot of things on it, and now nothing can be added to it. The bookmarks themselves from this bar are displayed in the Bookmarks—Bookmarks bar menu with an asterisk. I deleted Mozilla, rebooted the computer, reinstalled Firefox Mozilla several times - bookmarks on the Bookmarks Bar appear, but then disappear again. Also, all icons of installed extensions and Mozilla control buttons, such as Home, Update, Profile and others, have disappeared, and even Create a new tab has disappeared. Win10, Firefox browser developer 132.0b2 (64bit)

Every time I log on to AXS.com to purchase hockey tickets I click the "get tickets" button and it says "this sale link is not valid".

It does this for any event I try to purchase tickets for.

I do not have this issue with safari.

Everything was normal before the update. When I did the update, the menus changed, the bookmarks disappeared, the new tab key disappeared, how do I get it back to its original state?

I few minutes ago, I was signed in to my google email and other accounts and needed to log out. Now, when I try to re-sign-in, I can no longer access the google/gmail sign in page, I get directed to the "Clear cache" page. I've cleared my cache and cookies a number of times, restarted the computer and firefox (my firefox is up to date). I contacted google; they say the issue is with firefox. Everything was working fine an hour ago, but now I'm shut out? I can access the sign in page if I open the page in a "private" browser window. Anyone else having this issue? Any help?
