I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I normally have multiple FF windows open on multiple desktops. After a restart all of a sudden every time I create a new desktop, FF duplicates browser. If I open a new FF Window it will automatically appear across all open desktops.

Tried pretty much everything: Multiple restarts Cleared Cache Refresh Firefox General Settings changes

FF 119.01 Monterey 12.6.6

Any thoughts appreciated

we have a BigBlueButton Server setup for our company. Until recently we used a TURN-Server to tunnel the UDP connections thrugh the firewall.

Due to performance issues we wanted to try and let the clients connect directly to the udp ports 16000 - 32000

In Chrome this works as expected.

In Firefox however when we set "media.peerconnection.turn.disable" to "true" FF does not find any WebRTC candidates. We checked the logs and it says there:

"relay only option is set without any TURN server configured" "relay/proxy only option results in ICE TCP being disabled"

But thats NOT true! The option "media.peerconnection.ice.relay_only" is definetly set to "false"

Tested on FF 115.5.0 ESR and 120.0.1

Does anyone have an idea whats happening here? Why doesnt FF even try to make a direct connection?

UPDATE: I just ran a test on our dev system. If we configure BBB so that it does not offer any TURN-servers, FF uses a direct connection. Sadly that is not possible, since we need the TURN server for external connections. When there are TURN-Candidates but TURN is disabled via FF config no connection is established at all. This definetly semms like a bug in FF, since the browser should still be able to simply try and connect directly.

Is there a Firefox setting that automatically clears cookies? When I turned my computer on, it had been cleared of cookies since the last time I had it on a few hours ago, but I didn't do it. No one else here to use the computer but me. I don't want cookies cleared automatically. How do I change it back to manual? I use Firefox Browser 120.0

I have been receiving the following error code 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' on several website on my Firefox browser. Sometime, not all the time, I get the same error message while trying to use YouTube, while other times the site loads but says that I am offline and no internet connection. I have done all of the fixes that they say to use online and nothing seems to work. YouTube will occasionally work but none of the thumbnails will show up. Then there are other site that work fine.

Hello, I cannot get videos to go into full screen in FF as they used to before latest update. Tested on various sites. There are no controls shown on YouTube unless i either hide the taskbar or scroll down both of which is a nuisance. On some sites the task bar stays at the bottom which it didn't used to do. link text

Good evening, I have an issue related to ETP. Reading through several articles I couldn't find an answer to the following thing: How do you treat cookies set by Hubspot or GA4? They are a First Party cookie, but they don't always have samesite-parameter filled out.

I know that the lifespan is limited for first-party cookies. But I don't get whether samesite=none/empty makes a difference? Because data will be sent to a third-party server.

I'd be glad about clarification and your help. If you have articles covering this issue, that would also be great. Thank you for your support.

I have recently had to reload my laptop. Before I did so I synced all my passwords, bookmarks, history etc. When I have reloaded Firefox onto my device all my data is missing. Please can you help as I need all my passwords and bookmarks for work.

Hello, every once in a while Firefox on my Win 10 PC resets bookmarks, logins and saved tabs to ones that I used several weeks/months ago. I also remember that it once switched back to a newer instance a few days after switching to and older one. When I try to open the app, it also creates a new icon on my taskbar. This has happened around 4-5 times in the last year. Does any one have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance!

Just opened up Fireox and everything has gone - all bookmarks and folders, toolbar with shortcuts, all of it. I am not a technical person. What do i do to get it all back? Thank you Harry

Dear Mozilla Team, I hope you're doing well. I have a question because I am not sure about things how works when someone changes a device. 3 days ago I changed my Mac device to a new one and however I logged in with my profile my Mozilla Firefox looks completely different and I would like to know which version I used let's say a week ago and what is the version now, is there a way to figure out this? Greetings, I am a 77 year old geezer and I have been using Firefox for probably 25 or 30 years. PROBLEMS: 1) bulk emails sent to my customers are rejected by mostly gmail accounts. 2) Emails sent to me of airline group bookings arrive as pages of code that I cannot read. THESE TWO ISSUES ARE NEW PROBLEMS I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE -- STARTED ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO 3) How do I move/transfer all of my address books/database to a gmail account?

Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut information, but the box always goes back to white and empty. I tried a System Restore. That didn't work either. I depend on these shortcuts for my work and bill paying. Please, someone help me! Thanks!

I tried clearing caches under Privacy & Security, but the problem persists.

shoould i uninstall and reinstall mozilla firefox? as far as i know im using all the default settings. when i search the net it returns a page that im sure the site doesnt intend its text and other features to be so HUGE. I ALWAYS have to scroll down to get to a button.

My apologies if I am being a numpty, but I have been using Firefox for many years without issue, and recently (possibly after an update, but I cannot be certain), it has started to randomly freeze. I am running Ubuntu 22.04, and Firefox 119.0. I have demonstrated to myself that if I open a web page with links (but not always), and click on the link, I may still scroll up and down the page, but the mouse cursor never seemed to recognise the hotlink, and doesn't jump to it. The links will work on Chromium. I initially tried resetting the browser, thereby losing all my open pages, but that didn't work. That also removed all extensions ("all" two of them) and that didn't work. Firefox is now pretty much unusable. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated, as I cannot find any solutions online, and it seems I am not alone with this issue! Many thanks,
