i tried everything in setting , nothing works these suggested shortcuts automatically attached to my home page i did deselect this feature in setting but still they pop up on my home page and the other problem is i am not able to search in my web search section on the home page what is that so ? why this isnt fixed yet ?

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I'm running Linux (NixOS) and Firefox version 148. I've tested on Chrome based browsers and they work fine. Tested on Firefox forks and they also don't display correctly. This is new since less than a week ago.

Popup GUI elements if pulled up twice in quick succession spike my CPU usage and crash the program

some examples: -menu bar menus -the menu button -context menus (websites with their own context menus do not do this) -preview tooltips

I've tried disabling extensions, turning hardware acceleration off and on and disabling AI to no avail. Disabling the preview tooltips 'worked' but I'd prefer not to disable everything here. Are there any other settings that might help?

I created a Primary Password for the Firefox on my Laptop. I must have written it down incorrectly because Laptop Firefox doesn't recognize the Primary Password when enter it.

Since Laptop Firefox doesn't recognize my Primary Password, I am unable to log into any websites *on my Laptop*. Even if I enter the user name & password manually (vs. trying to use the saved passwords), the Laptop Firefox just asks for the Primary Password.

I am able to access my Firefox account on my Desktop PC and my phone. All three of the devices (laptop, phone, desktop) were being synced, but I turned off the sync when this problem began.

I have read on the Mozilla site that if I have forgotten the Primary Password, then I can "reset" it, however this means I will lose all of my user names and passwords.

I have also read that if I have forgotten my *Account Password*, then I can use my Recovery Key to reset it. >>Can I use my Recovery Key to reset the Laptop Firefox *Primary Password* without loss of data?

I found the place to reset the Laptop Primary Password, but did not click it because I was afraid everything would be deleted when I clicked "Reset".

I dislike having my search suggestions show in the address bar. I have cleared the box on the search settings box, however searches continue to show only in the address bar. If i go to the Google home page the searches show on a webpage Any help will be appreciated.

My wife's old Windows 10 HP laptop quit working last week do to some Operating System failure while it was trying to do an update. It finally did a reboot and now it is useless, at least as it is! It will NOT complete the boot process after trying all of the options offered. All that I am able to is exit out of Windows to a "DOS prompt." I am able to get to the Mozilla Firefox folder and others contain within. The new Windows 11 laptop I bought her is working fine with a fresh Firefox browser installed about a week ago. What she wants is her web links, settings and saved passwords "copied" from the old laptop and installed on the new one! We have no idea how many there are to retrieve! I'm hoping that there might only be one folder that I can copy via "command line" prompt to a USB drive and move the file(s) to the new laptop the same way. Can anyone tell me what I need to know? I don't have access to the primary email to do anything. I do have the secondary email entered but it's asking for a code from the primary email to change it, like I mentioned we don't have access to. Is there any help for this. Hate to lose what we have.

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I like it very much.

Problem: I received an outlook email with a link to a Docusign envelope. The link would not connect with Docusign.

Work Around: When I used another browser, Microsoft Edge, the link opened up right away.

Additional Information: I use another digital signature program, Dotloop, and it works without any issues on Firefox.

Question: What can I do to make sure that Docusign works properly on Firefox?

How do I get the full url line of where I am currently on the homepage back for the search line, or the old full browser line? Have been looking in settings and haven't located it.

About ready to leave firefox over it, and been here for years.

please allow me to stop firefox for making tab groups. I already checked the setting "Use AI to suggest tabs and a name for tab groups" but you don't have a setting that eliminates tab groups altogether. these tab groups keep popping up and messing up my tab organization. thank you
