Firefox used to display an AI overview response at the top of the page when you asked a question. That feature has disappeared on my systems. I assume that is because of the new AI controls. Is that function still available? If so, how do I re-enable it on Windows 10? The only video I could find addressed it for Windows 11 but I'm not there yet.

I have read the Refresh Firefox instructions that appear in the "Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings" Firefox support webpage, including the "saved items" and "removed items" section.

Over time, I have made a number of changes in the "about:config" section of my Firefox browser.

Q: Would a Refresh of my Firefox browser affect any of these "about:config" changes?

Q: Is there a way that I can create a list of all "about:changes" that I have made?

Until recently we had the use of AI Overview when searching. That has disappeared. How do we turn it on again?

I have a domain with catch all address.

I have default send from address as john@mydomain.com. When i press new message or hit reply , from is john@mydomain. 

With catch all setup, some email would be addressed email1@mydomain.com, email2@mydomain etc...

Is it possible than when i hit reply button on email, the from address would be set to "to" address of email i'm replying to ( for example email1@mydomain.com), instead of sender defined in account settings?

On my wifes PC Firefox appears to be doing random things. First the screen turned pink, then the taskbar icon has a gear-wheel overlaying it, and she is unable to do anything, like logging into zoom. Google searches work but clicking on any link goes nowhere and just sits. Is there a way of returning to it's previous boring but appreciated habit of just working, without uninstalling and re-installing from scratch please? thanks (she is currently using our fallback laptop in her office so I can't access her pc for an hour or so.)

Not sure if if this is a settings issue. All good, except the Status Bar and progress bar do not show progress activity during prompted cleaning of all accounts, as before. I cannot tell if it's still working or not, or if I can close the program without crashing or corrupting something. I am guessing it's working as the HD light is busy. Eventually (some accounts are large) the status bar indicates it compacted to save ___MB. Version 152.0 on Windows 10, supported.

On upgrade to 152.0, a pop-up asked for options I have not seen before. I cannot find info about what the net.thunderbird option is, nor why I would or would not want to click it? Any help out there?

This product use to be simple. But now will not let me see the whole layout . Have to chase it across back to the begining. Been with this program over 15 years. Now i Hate it! Arthur Lovett as my father would say Keep it Simple and workable.

I have been using Thunderbird email for years. Recently, I have gotten this error message: Connection to server mail.5starpros.com:465 failed. I have checked all the settings and they are right for my domain. I called the hosting service to check for email on their end and everything is fine. This message is blocking my domain at 5starpros.com. But, in Outlook on the same computer the same email address is working just fine. Thunderbird has the same settings and is getting my email. Is like my PC is blocking my email address. Can anyone help me with this. It is very distressing.

I received a spam message this morning that had a "Disposition-Notification-To" (aka Read Receipt) line that had MY email address on it. I honestly don't know why a spammer would do this - but that's not the issue. I have Read Receipts disabled, but Thunderbird generated an email (to me) and sent it to my mail host. This seems like a bug. Even if the Read Receipt has my email address on it (making it mostly harmless), Thunderbird shouldn't have generated the message. Or am I missing something? Thanks.

The email address box does not accept the email address and comes up with an error message. The only way to send an email is to use a different browser ie Google. Emails are still received as normal on Firefox / BT mail

I have discovered Major problem with Firefox which affects the use of my btinternet.com email account . Since the recent update I am no longer able to add the contact name to a new email which I wish to compose automatically from my contacts (I am required to type it in full. I can still do it, with the shortcut of typing in the first 3 letters, when using other browsers such as Google or Edge or the Outlook muti mail account service but generally prefer Firefox. If this situation prevails I will ditch Firefox as speed of communication and addressing is of the essence to me. Are Firefox aware and are they correcting things?

Could any settings have been altered by the update - which contribute to my problem?

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. When I open the sentmail folder, I want the receiptants name (email address) to show in the list of emails sent instead of my name (email address). How do I resolve this?
