hi today thunderbird started showing yahoo popup login and after adding credentials i always get "something went wrong.We could not sign you in. Try again from a different device." Also popup once closed it opens instantly.

i can sign in normally from browser. thunderbird version is 147

is there any fix about this?

I have just had to replace my PC following a bit of a disaster with my old one. The new PC has Windows 11. As usual I downloaded Firefox as I always use this. Somewhere in the installation of Firefox I must have been asked about blocking ads, but I don't remember. Now all ads are blocked, which I don't mind, but some sites are asking me to disable my ad-blocker if I want to use their site. Mostly I don't but there is one I need to use, so I would like to add that site as an exception, but I cannot find any mention of any ad-blocker in settings. Where do I find this? and how do I add exceptions?

The only add-on that I have in Firefox is the 'Privacy Badger' which could be the problem I suppose, but I can't see the website listed in the ones Privacy Badger is blocking.

Created new yahoo mail IMAP (PKCE) account using Thunderbird account creation. All seemed to work well. However, new account does not receive mail from "some" other IMAP and POP accounts in testing, including from TB Pro. Strangely, mail sent from oldest POP accounts works. Mail from newer POP gmail and TBPro accounts is not received. TB 149.0b1 Windows 11

When using Firefox to access certain sites on this laptop such as Marriott.com, United.com, AA.com and Spirit.com, after I login and start a search I get an Access Denied message. However, when using Firefox on another laptop I am able to d a search for a reservation on these sites. This leads me to believe a setting on this specific machine has been changed and I do not know how to correct the situation.

Access to the above sites works without any issues on Chrome or Edge.

The site is ok when I open on another window and even on Google which I don't like.

I cannot get the bookmarks toolbar to show "Other Bookmarks" on the right end of the toolbar. When I right click on the toolbar, the option to "Show Other Bookmarks" is greyed out.

I completely uninstalled Firefox, deleting all residual files and registry keys, then reinstalled the software, and it hasn't fixed my issue.

I cannot find any support forums or articles that have provided a solution.

Since the up date my yahoo and AOL account want me to enter the password. When i do it is not accepted. It is correct since i tried it on a friends computer. I tried to use forgot password and it says I should enable java script and turn off ad blockers. I cannot do this in Firefox nor do I think it will help.

Hi, for about the last week (23 Feb 2026) when watching videos in my Firefox Browser, there are short stutters. First noticed in Youtube, so looked for updates to UBO and other extensions. Then noticed the same thing in BBC iPlayer and my4 streaming. It also happens when watching my media via Plex in the browser. It is not my network bandwidth or speed.

When I watch media via my Plex app or videos on VLC media player, there is no stutter.

I use Firefox as my desktop (and phone) browser. Recently my desktop cannot open my USBank Online banking service (my Android Firefox phone browser works fine). The USBank customer technical service agent tells me that their software does not recognize the Firefox browser - he says that AVG Secure, Microsoft Edge , and Google Chrome work fine). How do I rectify this without changing browsers? I've used Firefox for opver a decade without trouble. Help!

I received an email on 02/25/2026 that was a egift card from a local small business. The egift card was from with Square account. When I went back into my inbox the next day to use the egift card, the email was gone. I looked in all my folders and didn't see it anywhere. How can an email just disappear? When I contacted the small business, they said they can't honor the egift card without the 16 digit # on the egift card. I showed them the receipt for the purchase but it doesn't not show the 16 digit code for the ecard, only shows the purchase of a gift card. So how do I find this email with the egift card?

I don't recall the actual email address the egift card was from other than I saw it was from a Square account.

I know that there is already default containers built-in without the need of the extension. But there's no way to open tabs in containers when we click a link, only when it's typed in. There's an option in settings that allow to pick a container when a new tab is opened, but that's it. It would also be great to move the Mozilla VPN and integration and sync function from the extension to the settings page for easier access.
