I have the problem that Firefox does not correctly recognize when I want to scroll up on a web page. This often causes me to accidentally refresh the page. Usually this should only happen when I'm already at the top of the website and then swipe down again and not in the middle of the website. I have even tried Firefox Nightly and Klar, but the issue occurs with every browser. Is there perhaps some trick or hidden setting that causes the browser to scroll reasonably again instead of constantly refreshing the website?

Problem: keyboard covers text area in chat and scroll does not function. In a chat with customer service usually, the text I am writing does not appear, it is behind the keyboard and scroll is frozen. I have to close the keyboard to see the text, also scroll works. Then I click on my partially filled text box, keyboard comes back covering it, no scroll. Repeat. Pixel 6, FF for Android, T-mo, Ad-Guard only addon, everything updated, see attached.

I'm having an issue with Firefox on Android. On certain websites (e.g., Yahoo News, Calscape.org, Google search results--with Goggle Search Fixer add-on enabled), I can scroll down the page without issue, but scrolling slowly back up toward the top of the page with downward drags of my finger is only responsive half of the time. That is, I can only scroll back up with every-other downward swipe/drag of my finger. This odd behavior does not happen with other mobile browsers (I'm on Android 13 and using a Galaxy A53 5G). Any suggestions?

I am posting this issue at the request of E from Firefox's app developer feedback after I submitted an app review.

The app continues to be unstable on my Pixel 6a (latest OS, Android 13) after freezing up on what appears to be any heavily scrolled pages or those that create a heavy cache. This freezing then causes abrupt phone restarts shortly thereafter, but not always immediately. Usually the culprit seems to be linked to Facebook album viewing, Imgur albums with article-length descriptions, etc. The abrupt phone restarting occurs whether force stopping Firefox and clearing the cache right away or not (although the restarts seem to happen faster if I force stop the app). I have simply closed the app during the freeze, put my phone down, and come back minutes or hours later to it having restarted on its own.

In addition, open tabs have a tendency to lose their scroll spots on a non-infinitely-scrolling page (e.g. an article not requiring expanding) when the app is minimized but not closed. This is probably unrelated(?) and isn't as critical as the spontaneous restarts, however.

It looks like many Pixel 6a users have had this issue, although those support threads from 8-9 months ago have now been archived. Someone else mentioned scripts from the websites themselves may be to blame? Would be curious to hear of any specific fixes. Thanks!

Using FF for Android on a pixel 6 on every website when I try to scroll down nothing moves and if I keep sliding down the page refreshes. It thinks I'm at the top. Every single time. I have to scroll down a couple millimeters then it will go up. Scroll down is not an issue. I've seen other users with this issue and I've seen bug reports addressing it so I know it's a real thing.

The new user interface for IOS is insanely hard to use. I have an IPhone 12 mini, and recently the interface changed from one that had a large search bar at the bottom of the screen with bigger buttons and easier access. Now, it’s just one tiny row with no search bar on screen, making me either get rid of the tab or open a whole new one to search. The buttons are also ways smaller. I haven’t seen any way to get rid of this new UI and I’m not sure if i’m the only one having the issue.

When first opening the firfox browser and trying to use the search bar. The keyboard is different than usual. Typically there is no "www." button next to the period button. However, for some reason with Firefox and DuckDuckGo, there is one. Google does not have this issue. I really would rather not use google, but this "feature" is causing me to hit the period button instead of space. I tried looking in the settings on could not find a way to remove this. Another oddity is that on THIS page my keyboard is normal. If it helps, I have a Samsung Galaxy A50

So I got directed here after leaving an unfavourable review due to an ongoing issue that google had no answers for. The screenshot should show the problem. I don't not know what causes it, only that it feels random when it breaks. Cashe/data clearing doesn't help, only a full reinstall seems to fix it, but this gets annoying pretty quick. The issue is search boxes on websites become black, and the text looks weird. The only add-on I use is UBlock, and when I left the review, the app broke after just an hour after being reinstalled, before I even installed UBlock.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20Ultra if that helps, though I'm due for an update, and haven't had the time to sort it.

Hello,

I switched from a OnePlus 6 to a Sony Xperia 1 V. I've used gesture navigation on my OnePlus and I'm using it on my Xperia as well.

During the one day of me using my new Xperia I noticed that Firefox sometimes stops responding to the "back" gesture navigation.

This happens several times a day.

Restarting Firefox or going in to the phone settings and changing the navigation method from gesture to 3 buttons and back seems to fix the problem.

Switching to another app and back to Firefox doesn't seem to change anything.

My phone is running Android 13 and my Firefox version is: 116.2.0 (Build #2015966883), 1c64add6ac+ GV: 116.0.2-20230805021307 AS: 116.0

Since I only had this phone for a short time I cannot say if this problem was introduced with a new update.

If I have an opened page in firefox, I swich to another app, and swich back to firefox page, this firefox page autorefresh, and I need to scroll again, search where I was before swiching. It is possible to disable this option, autorefeesh, for keeping page at swiching in apps. If I am offline, and open an firefox page, this page will be lost...is no good.
