Thunderbird is not receiving incoming emails. I get a window that says " Login to server pop.centurylink.net with username nonnox15@centurylink.net failed. See image below. This occurs frequently but usually will download after a while. But today I can't get the messages to come in. I Can go to my firefox browser and get my messages from the centurylink website, but I prefer to use Thunderbird. Any help would be appreciated.

I can put the password in the window that pops up, but I still can't get the messages to download.

I rebooted my laptop with both firefox windows I had open and possibly a private window too, then rebooted again without touching firefox, and now I can only restore one of the two windows. I checked my recently closed windows in history and there was nothing there at all. Is there anything I can do at all to restore that other window or is it just gone for good now?

Every time I want to print an email, the default copy number on my printer menu is shown as 2.

I don't know how, when or why this change [from 1 copy to 2 copies] happened.

I wish to 'reset' the default copy number to 1, so I don't accidentally print a second copy and waste ink, etc.

When I want to print documents stored on my PC, the copy number field on the printer menu is blank, allowing me to enter the number of copies I want - so the issue appears to occur only when I print emails.

I've had one of my TB configured email accounts disabled so I cannot login to it. How can I avoid TB to show me again and again that it's not able to connect that account? I just want to keep the already received/sent emails there in TB but it goes on and on showing that message even if I don't work on that account via TB anymore.

I've tried to unflag the option to check new messages from the Server options, but it didn't work. I've also tried to move all the emails/folder on local folders via TB interface, but this was made just partially possible because TB tried to login possibly due to some still-not-downloaded old messages which where made impossible to move. Moving all to a local folder will let me delete the account from TB and set me free from that annoying message which is also causing TB to be resource consuming, I don't know why, so that the laptop fan goes crazy (in such case, quitting TB causes the laptop fan to be back in peace in seconds).

hello Suddenly 2 days ago, when opening Thunderbird, I have a message saying : the connection from the server imap failed with the user name name@neuf.fr I tried twice to re-install Thunderbird and I also tried twice to change my password : neither was successfull But when I go to internet on the sfr mail site, the connection is successful... I believe I had all this synced in Firefox Settings before I made the upgrade. Like all you fellow former users of Windows 10, I had to upgrade to Windows 11; and did so two days ago. Now, I found that I do not have under History any of the former sites I not only visited but also had tabs open. What can I do, if anything, to recover them? Under the Add-ons Manager, if this helps, I already had the app Tab Session Manager, but don't know how to use it. Thanks to all in advance who may have made this same upgrade. Many out there are still on Windows 10.

I am using Thunderbird v140.4esr (32-bit), and the app hangs shortly after I try to create a new email, and I have to close the program and start again. I am using Windows 10 v22H2, current October patch. Whenever I try to create a new email in Thunderbird, I can type about a paragraph or two, then the window with the new email freezes, and the only way I can proceed is to force the program to close and start again. Sometimes I can recover part of the new email by choosing Drafts, but shortly after, it will hang again, and the process starts all over again. This has only started recently. It was functioning properly about a month ago. Why is this happening, and what can I do to mitigate it?

What should happen is that the main image should change on mouse hover over one of the images from the column on the left. Also it should be possible to use the left or right navigation arrows on the main image to cycle through the images. Neither of these actions is possible. It works fine on Edge.

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

I have successfully added numerous Zoho email addresses for our business into Thunderbird so I can easily toggle back and forth between inboxes, etc., but I have one Zoho email address that I just can't get to add. I created a new App-Specific Password for it in Zoho in case that was the problem, but the new one isn't solving the issue, either. I've attached an image of the screen and the message I'm getting- please let me know where else I can check for whatever might be preventing this add.

Can anyone tell me how to set up the THUNDERBIRD TO ALWAYS LOG-IN into its own Messenger and avoid the Yahoo's interference with his INADEQUATE Messenger format - this should not be high-science question but I have difficulties to find an information in the HELP-section - thanks, Tony H. ...!

After I disabled ws2ifsl in the Registry Editor, problems began to occur when launching Firefox: as soon as I clicked the mouse after starting Firefox, it would become unresponsive. Even re-enabling ws2ifsl or refreshing Firefox was of no avail. No matter what I did, it would enter a completely unresponsive state as soon as I clicked the mouse. Do I really have to reinstall Firefox? Note: This is for the Windows version.

Hello guys: In MANY YEARS of using Thunderbird, my Incoming messages have started collected in Trash INSTEAD of in the 'Inbox' Folder ALWAYS set in 'Inbox' Folder set as the default: I have spent a lot of times searching for the cause of this malfunction but I can't find to find the cause and the way how to resolve this malfunction. Can anyone provide an effective help to correct this problem please - many thanks, Tony H.
