My FF Browser introduced a vertical row of rings which I want to get rid off. Im using W10 and FF Version 151.0.4 (64-Bit). Rings are stable, updates show them again. Any Help???

i'm running firefox 152.0.1 on android 15 running on a samsung s23.

for some reason, firefox insists on downloading text files, instead of displaying them directly. in my experience, firefox used to display text files directly by default.

i checked this on a pc running firefox 115.26.0.esr and was surprised to see the same behaviour. in addition, although i'm able to specify display/download preferences in settings as usual, the option 'open in firefox' doesn't exist for text files...

can anyone tell me why??

The Delete button (I've just begun using Thunderbird for Android) sends email to Delete-land: gone for good. There is no way to reprogram it to send to Trash. One can, alternatively, hide it on the main screen by setting swipes left and right to None. But it is still there in the Read screen....and potentially dangerous. If you try to set a swipe to Trash rather than Delete, there is no Trash option. So you have to set it to Move and choose Trash each time. This reduces the utility of Tbird Android and means you have to be extra-careful when reading emails.

Also, no way to reduce image sizes (by percentage) when attaching large picture files...unless you reduce them in advance in an image processing program.

Thunderbird has been working OK. Now, despite PC restarts and so on I get the message "mail couldn't be sent, time out error for SMTP server. I have tried changing the SMTP settings from port 465 to port 587 but no difference. If I log in to my email provider (vodafon/uniymail) I can send mails no problem. The problem is with thunderbird not sending smtp. Tried turning firewall and antivirus off, no help. Internet connection is glassfibre, internet works OK.

my emails whether they are read or not move on their own from the inbox to the trash folder without being prompted. I have disabled all spam filters and this still happens. I have to manually move them back to the inbox more than once per day. Help! I have had a lot of problems with Tbird since having to re download the program since my last hard drive failed. Auto updated to firefox 150 yesterday. What's new screen announced the rollout of the free in browser vpn had reached us (in Canada). Clicked the link to set up, went to screen to follow instructions. There's no vpn icon in the firefox menu bar, no matter what I do. (And I have done everything obvious.) Was the VPN not in the actual update I received or is this some bug/glitch? Thanks.

The details:

1.) After downloading the update, my antivirus scanner reports an infected file (see screenshots / message + path).

2.) When I try to “Restart Firefox to complete the update,” Firefox briefly “disappears” (whatever happens there) and then “reappears”—but the prompt “Restart Firefox to complete the update” is still there. Unfortunately, this can be repeated as many times as you like without anything changing.

3.) Restarting the computer (Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) does not resolve the issue either (see screenshot). I always performed previous updates before shutting down the computer—and the next day (since Firefox, as expected, had been closed and restarted), the updated version of Firefox was running.

4.) The suggested solution is to download the “Firefox installer.” But that doesn’t help me, since I need “Firefox DEVELOPER.”

Would uninstalling Firefox DEVELOPER and reinstalling it >WITHOUT DATA LOSS< be a solution??

I CANNOT log into my Facebook account since Firefox launched your VPN. I didn't sign UP for the VPN but I'm troubleshooting and the VPN launch happened at the same time I was denied access to Facebook. Can you FIX this problem????? It is infuriating!!!! I can SEE the page and friends can SEE the page which means it hasn't be LOCKED or deleted. I just can't access my own page - not with my phone # or email. I just get a 2-step authentication notice EVERY TIME I try to login and when I do try to log in, I get the "technical issue" notice. My page - https://www.facebook.com/SueCastner

I have installed Firefox VPN, but it is disabled by default so I have to enable it whenever I use it . How can I change the default setting to make it on by default

Why is there no FIFA world cup widget in my Firefox for Android, version 152.0.1? I have looked through all the settings, but there is nothing. When I use the search feature in settings, there is a search result when searching for "world cup" which redirects me to the "Homepage settings", but there is nothing.

How would one purge their cookies, search history, tab data while resetting/randomising identifiable information (for example if Firefox were to give each user a serial number or unique tag which it hands to webpages), all without resetting a users a user's browser settings, about:config & browser extensions downloaded (and extension settings). I am using Debian GNU/Linux, so bear in mind that I will be using the most stable version of Firefox on the Debian repos, not the newest version. I do not have a command line phobia, I am willing to do a lot of initial setup & run a specific command every time I launch the browser, even if said command is long. My current system involves rm -rfing the profile on a browser, but this is not optimal because it removes settings & extensions.

I have several saved cards in 152.0.1 (64-bit). When on a payment site the drop-down list shows up as expected, so the extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries is correct and working (GB). Also address filling still works, as does saved passwords,

However if I try to "Manage payment methods" the resulting list in "about:preferences#managePayments" is blank. (see image)

I have tried toggling on and off "save & autofill" and restarting, but nothing helps.

Adding a new card works, and the new card appears in the drop-down list on a payment form, but still nothing appears to edit or remove in the settings. How an I edit this list?

PS: I have disabled ALL extensions.

Whenever I have just 1 Window of Firefox and just 1 tab open, task manager ALWAYS shows 14. Why is this? I have refreshed Firefox and lost some of my settings, it did nothing. Have I been hacked and someone else is controlling my browser?

I found some information about deleting closed tabs from Firefox.

Please allow users to select a date or date range instead of a maximum number of tabs and windows. Computers often restart, for instance when installing updates, and some sessions will include more tabs than others.

Some how someone has attached to my computer and its system or programs, accounts Etc... Im not entirely sure, I am Looking for anything that I can Install or Add-On, Download or Extension's, Whatever Could Help Deep Search and Locate the Root Cause or Area where they were able to attach to my Files or whatever it is they latched onto.
