I use an online retailer to buy birthday cards and gifts - Moonpig.com. Whenever I choose Paypal as my payment option, it logs me directly into my Paypal account without me entering any details. I have several Paypal accounts and want to choose which one to use. I have no saved payment details on Moonpig's site and having checked, they say that somehow my browser is logging me in automatically. That's Firefox and I want it to stop.

I have no issues with Firefox storing log-in details but I should be able to choose which Paypal account I want to use.

Any thoughts please? UF

I am being locked out of my Firefix desktop linux account using Ubuntu. It had me successfully change my password yesterday and today won't accept any of my known present and previous passwords.

Shortly after upgrading FireFox, whenever I try to go to a website, like PayPal or my bank or anything else, I immediately get a large Ad/site for something frequently related somehow.

Like my bank I will get something suggesting an online bank, or ways to make banking easier. It will be a large window, covering my original window. I have to exit THAT site to get to the one I want.

It is a separate window, I cannot just X it out, I must shut down that window. Then the window that I actually want will be beneath it.

I can't figure out how to fix it.

I am using 147 ESR and when I go to permissions and block all cookies for the site plex.tv the cookies are not blocked. If I go to the URL field and select the lock, it shows "clear cookies and site data" which means the cookies have being accepted.

Why are the cookies accepted from the site when I have set cookies "blocked"

Suddenly today when I tried to use facebook, already logged in, I got the message "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes." Yet facebook works fine on Safari and Chrome.

I cleared my settings, except cookies, turned off extensions and restarted firefox which did not help.

My Windows 11 computer crashed recently. Before restoring windows I was able to backup some data files. I thought that I had a Firefox backup, as I recorded a folder called “Old Firefox Data” It contained a Folder called “2eguguhi.default-release” of size 751 MB. It in turn contained 7,708 Files, & 2,269 Folders. When I re-started Firefox on my “fixed” Windows 11, It was a virgin with no History & no Bookmarks; my old configuration was lost. I tried to follow the advice Fro Mozilla Help But to no avail. It was not able to detect or recognise the Folder in “Old Firefox Data”

Am I Lost or can someone Help please.

i looked up lots questions and solution. nothings seems to work. i did all Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems. cleared cache, restarted firefox, refreshed. everything I could do. nothing works.

could you tell me what else I can try?
