I was notified by the Cornell University IT department that "Microsoft will begin retiring Exchange Web Services (EWS), an older technology used by some email and calendar applications, starting October 1, 2026" and that my use of Thunderbird might be affected.

Is Thunderbird currently using EWS to access my email account: cal19@cornell.edu
