Access calendar programmatically (CLI, local files, etc?)

Is there any way to access my Lightning Calendar events programmatically, either by using some command-line access with thunderbird.exe, or by reading the local files where calendar data is cached? I would like to be able to run scripts locally based off my calendar events.

(I didn't see a better question topic to list this under, although this could also be considered a privacy question since bad actors could use these same cli/file access methods to steal calendar data, I suppose...)
