Default username must include my domain. Thunderbird's default install doesn't include the domain. How to change username?
I have a domain, deskdata.com. For reasons unknown, I have to include the domain in my username for the POP3 mail servers. For example, when I use a web browser to log on, the server wants to see petrier@deskdata.com as my user name. Just using petrier results in a failure. I know this seems a bit strange but I was told to do this years ago and it's been working. Trying to install Thunderbird on a new Windows 11 machine has been frustrating as I'm almost there.
