You can check for issues with Total Cookie Protection.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin), always make sure such extensions do not block content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings), click the padlock icon (Clear cookies and site data) for the domain in the selected tab.

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

You can check for issues with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages like blocked content.

All suggestions as listed above have been tried, several time, including rebooting and I also uninstaller/reinstalled Firefox; the same problem. No Add-ons or Extensions. Again this problem occurred after the 121 updates. This problem was first noticed on my primary computer that already had the Firefox 121 update. I check a secondary computer which did not have the 121 updated and I was able to login, however as I was at this computer the 121 update began installing, after which I cleared the cache rebooted and cleared the cache again, and it would no longer login and get the same screen as attached. Both computers login to PNC using Edge.

Over the past years, we regularly have seen reports about issues with using Firefox to sign in to PNC bank.

You can help identify the problem by running mozregression between versions 120 and 121 to find exactly what caused login to stop working.

I am trying mozregression, but having problems. In the video as the regressions progress they move toward the current date. My regressions progress to older dates which I don't understand. I have entered different combinations of release dates and calendar dates. What am i missing?

FYI, I just loaded the Nightly, 123.0a1 (2023-12-21), and it opens the PNC login page correctly and I can login.

Not finding any bad builds with mozregression points towards an issue with your profile.

You can try creating a new profile or refreshing your existing profile. If you sign into your sync account it could possibly carry over the problem.
