There is no support for this unreliable product and I wonder after all these years, just how much effort does Mozilla expect for users to keep using this unreliable, fix it every day, product??

Are you sure it's not third-party software interfering or malware on your system?

Does it still happen with Developer Edition?

Thanks, I use Bitdefender and Nord, and neither can find a bug so I assume it a browser problem, but realize it could be malware without any way to find it. Developer edition, is not for me. I have too much sensitive data and no time to be a developer's test rat.

Does it still happen with Bitdefender and Nord disabled? You can also try Windows Safe Mode.

Thanks, Yesterday, I reset my privacy setting using the advice in the link above, from Never Remember to Use Custom and that seemed to solve the problem. I then restored tools, fav tabs and screenshot, opened and closed the browser several times and everything worked fine. Today all those settings are gone and firefox opened with its invitation to experience an amazing internet. That would be funny if it wasn’t so annoying. Further i find that it will not restore and is unresponsive to search and my attempt to respond to this threat was impossible using Bing as my Mozilla sign in was frozen. So I’ve assumed the browser has been hacked, I’ve uninstalled firefox and am seeking help from my ISP and Bitdefender. I’ll communicate further when I’ve found some solutions at that end. Thanks for your assistance
