my send button and my attach file button is missing
Hi I am trying to get back to my "old" Thunderbird after accidentially removing various buttons in my mailprogramme. I miss "send" and "attach" in particular Thanks in advance Per Rasmussen

These steps may do it for you: - click the 'write' button to bring up compose window - click View>toolbars to verify that Composition Toolbar is visible - right-click on composition toolbar and from the pop up menu locate 'send' and 'attach' and drag to bar.
Hi David thanks for reverting. I can now see that I do not have a Composition Toolbar showing, when I click write - so need to dig a bit deeper..... Thanks in advance! Per
Puzzling. Isn't the solution there, just ticking the composition toolbar?
No joy there is absolute nothing in any of the spaces.....
I don't understand that sentence. There is no menu bar? No 'View' option? What?
I have taken a photo of the screen when in "writing mode" - Hope you can open it! Cheers Per
Sorry, no photo. If it is a JPG, you can attach to response. There is a 'browse' button below text area.
Hi David thanks for your patience! Here we go again....
Any possibility of making that photo bigger? I increased 500% and still cannot read it.
Hi David, I tried with a 5 x zoom on my phone Hope it works! Per
Click 'write'. then, move mouse to top of screen in Thunderbird, right-click and select 'menu bar' and 'composition bar'
Hi David, I do not get any options when moving mouse to top and right-clicking I only get minimize and maximize and close with Alt-F4
Oops. my error. click 'write' and then click the alt button. the menu should appear at top. click view and tick the menu bar and composition bar to ensure they always show up.
Hi David Thanks!! It's been that kind of day, so nice with a succesful conslusion. Thanks for your hard work!! Cheers Per
