in regards to the previous answer to this question. It appears that i have the windows media pack installed. Also if I put Firefox in troubleshoot mode, videos play back fine, in normal mode if by chance the video does show and I move the mouse it blacks out. This has just started happening in Firefox. I don't know what has changed. I am going to include some system info if that helps any, I really appreciate the help previously.

Sounds like you need to disable all add-ons, restart the browser, and bring them back 1 by 1 to see which one is causing the issue.

That didn't work , I had to go back to an older version 98.0.02, and that solved the problem, Firefox updated to version 100 on the 5th and that's when the problems began. so I changed the settings to ask before updating. Thanks for your help

I added 1 plug in in Firefox I removed it as a step to resolve the issue, to no avail. I had no other add-ons or plug-ins,
