WHAT FREE OFFICE SUITES PROGRAM WORKS BEST WITH MOZILLA FIREFOX?
I DL'd LibreOffice. I went to Writer to create a master grocery shopping list. I figured I'd use a Table. It asked me if I wanted to Create a Database. I figured yeah, I'm going to probably create all kinds of grocery shopping lists. Per store. Per item. I want to cross reference items to compare. Perhaps keep records of store price and best sale price with date of sale. I don't know what is possible yet. Anyway, to create a LIbreWriter Database it errored that I needed to install a JAVA JRE. Java says FF doesn't support it.
It linked to Oracle whereby I could not find a comparable DL to JRE.
Support.mozilla seems to have been saying do it offline with a bunch of complicated workarounds.
I just want to do something simple to fix this. I have to do a complicated update for Win7 to 8 or 10, then to 11 and have been preparing backups on my 2TB HP with an already partitioned hard drive so I don't have time to mess around (plus medical issues make it difficult to do most days. I mention this because perhaps Win11 will factor into your reply.
What's the best thing to do? DL a specific/different Office Style Suite to work with FF? If so which? What's the safest way to go? Thank you for your advise.

Although Firefox will no longer run a JRE as a plugin for web content, Firefox should be able to download a JRE installer for other programs that need it. You just would not notice any change in Firefox itself after installing Java. And I think that's fine because your office suite isn't dependent on any specific browser.

Sorry I'm so inexperienced - embarrassing - but I've been ill over 22yrs now. I'm not being obtuse I just have cognition issues with pain signals interrupting my thoughts. I get it I just can't remember/repeat so well. Please be patient with my questions.

That's gibberish to me now after working a long time on my PC...
Are you saying I SHOULD just download the "download" icon on the home page they gave me referencing only FF? Will that do it? It doesn't mention the download is for the JRE File. JAVA only auto detected FF. ...lets see what JAVA said in reference to FF:

So it's Oracle Java SE...but it also needs to be...64-bit Java for Windows Version 8 Update 321 (filesize: 81.99 MB) Release date: January 18, 2022. I don't know what that is for since it only referenced autodetecting FF and nothing about OfficeLibre. So I'm just not getting it.
I guess I'm confused because the java download doesn't say it has the JRE file. Is JRE included in JAVA SE 64X Win ver8 321?
Will JAVA SE 64-bit Java for Windows Version 8 Update 321 make OfficeLibra work only by itself? Or is there another JAVA file I need to download that I can't find to transfer files from FF/web?

Copy and paste is a function that uses the Windows clipboard, so I don't think Java is needed for that at all. For transferring data, it depends on how LibreOffice works. It might use Windows functions rather than using a browser. I guess if you run into a problem, let us know.
Regarding whether the Java package will make LibreOffice databases work, that question probably would be better directed to LibreOffice support. Either way, Firefox will not be involved except as one method of downloading Java for other software to use.

The Firefox web browser has never need a Java Plugin from Oracle to work as a web browser. It also has not allowed the Java Plugin (NPAPI) to run since Fx 52.0 Release.
