I am new to Thunderbird, so my question may seem trivial. How do I configure it to save all attachments from all emails to one folder? Like in Eudora.
This way the way Eudora was handling attachments and I am looking for a way to enable this in Thunderbird. I tried "The Bat!". It has this option but I need to highlight a group of messages on which this action is performed. Here, I have to do it one by one, for each message then select "detach". I hope there is a faster way to do it for multiple emails. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Mark.

Hi Not that I know of in basic Thunderbird, but there are many add-ons developed independently for Thunderbird. For this task consider https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/filtaquilla https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/attachmentextractor-continued/ Please read the notes and comments for each add-on, check version compatibility and experiment cautiously. Hope that helps, Agnes
