How do I designate an Inbox for incoming mail? I see no option!

When I set up Thunderbird I imported information from Eudora. This resulted in 2 Inboxes, one under Eudora Settings and one under Local Folders. All of Eudora's Inbox messages wound up in the Local Folders Inbox. All new downloaded email goes to the Eudora Settings Inbox. I don't think I need 2 Inboxes. I see no way to designate one or the other.

Also, there is apparently no Outbox in Thunderbird. I often refer to Eudora's Outbox. Can I set up a similar mailbox in Thunderbird? If so, how do I import the one from Eudora?

Thanks in advance, John

have you looked in the sent folder? Tools menu > account settings > Server settings > adbanced and se use global inbox (that is local folders) move mail from the Eudors settings account before you do that as it will vanish from the folder pane when you do.
