Firefox asks to store my password but never does, so it keeps populating the old ones, very annoying, anyone know the fix?
Details? I change my password, Firefox asks to save it, and it doesn't.

Is firefox sync enabled? If so, is there any issues working with any other aspect of sync? Like bookmarks or repopulating on a new clean profile?
Is the new password possibly being saved in komino or native macos keychain?
Does this effect both storing a new password and updating an existing password?
Do you see all passwords in the Firefox Password Manager?
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Logins: "Saved Logins" -> "Show Passwords"
It is possible that there is a problem with one or both files (logins.json and key4.db) in the profile folder that deal with storing passwords.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
