Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Updating Flash Player and activating did not work but starting Firefox in Safe Mode. Apparently something is blocking the video from starting. What might it be? Thank you.

Hi there appears to be an issue that only affects users who have turned off cleartype font rendering within their windows settings. So a workaround for the moment would either be to turn cleartype back on or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings it is a bug. Please try above.

Current version is 59.0.2 of Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

See what this says is going on, should have ticks in all. https://www.youtube.com/html5/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

PK, tried your solutions which did not work.

The frustration is that Chrome is able to quickly show the videos.

Hi, oh well one day it will not. Nice to know it plays in Chrome for now. It maybe possibly Norton Safe Web since Firefox worked in Safe Mode for the Pop-Up. Or is possible Firefox SandBox is set to high to run that as that is where video/audio play through. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Security/Sandbox
