almost every other day every page is rendered in black
since i guess the last update version 53 i guess, almost every day i bring go to an active firefox session and ALL the pages are blank, mostly black on black, facebook is white. i can copy the contents of the invisible text, so the page is actually there, but the background and ink are the same, thus invisible. my solution is to force a crash via killing firefox via task manager so that it restarts with all my pages. i don't have a huge amount of memory hogging stuff either. maybe someone can do a code diff of the previous version to see if the rendering engine has been mucked with ??

thanks, do you know if you have the win10 creators update already installed? we're tracking this problem in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1367628 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1163440
in the meantime it might help to disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).
yep, that install happened about a week ago. machine is windows 10 custom built box, 6 core AMD. i hate windows auto update, killed my laptop last year with the anniversary update, it now runs Fedora.
