I note you have have modified Firefox with Yahoo or may even have downloaded a modified version from Yahoo. I have no idea the extent of those modifications and whether that affects this. You also have a picasa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picasa) plugin. I imagine that also could affect image downloads.
