I take care of a club website. Firefox use to allow me to upload pictures to the site, then stopped. It says supported files types (they are all jpg pictures) when it takes me to "my pictures" (which is only the file itself, not the pics in the file). When i open the file to grab the pictures there is nothing there. But when i back it up the file is still there and i cannot grab it either.

So i went back to internet explorer and it has worked until tonite.

Now it doesn't work either.....

Help, please. Thank you for your time. Sandee.

Hi Sandee98,

Thank you for your questions. When there are issues uploading images to a remote server, and more than one browser stops the upload, there may be an issue with the remote server or a local firewall or connection.

If it is specific to Firefox Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode and see if the issue persists. Server Not Found - Troubleshoot connection problems may also be helpful if it works on another network and not the one you are currently having issues on.

Please let us know if the issue continues, we are happy to help.

Please contact the host or the provider of the service for more information.

As of last night I have been unable to upload picture to my company website. It goes through the motions of uploading but times out. I do not have any problems uploading using Chrome. As this has only started since last night, and after a recent Windows 8 update I am assuming there is a connection. I tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling with no improvement.

If you know of this problem and have a fix I will enable it. If you are unaware I will monitor the situation until it is fixed.

Thanks for being here

Greg

Hi Greg, Does the website happen to use Adobe Flash for uploading items to the site? There was another adobe flash update to a version 12.... please try to update flash and let us know if the uploads still does not work?
