hi, I have been experiencing a lot of crashes recently. I use Win XP and FF 15.0. special Yahoo Edition 1.10. I tried yesterday to use Safe Mode, it didn't occur, but since I couldn't work normally (Yahoo toolbar had disappeared) I went back to Normal Mode... and it crashed again this morning. I thank you very much for your help. Regards

Hello,

Hopefully this is related and will help : https://support.mozilla.org/fr/questions/936125

Or if the safe mode seems to fix the problem, try to disable your addons one by one and identify if one of them is causing these crashes.

Regards, Tibler

Note that Safe mode also disables hardware acceleration.

hi, i am sorry but i must say I am exasperated. i have a lot of urgent work to do and FF crashes every 10 minutes. If I am in the middle of something I lose everything. I don't have time to fix a bug. When are they doing to do it? It doesn't happen often but when it does it's a nightmare. I am seriously considering switching to IE or another browser. Sorry for the rant but I am not an expert in browsers. Thanks for your attention

Did you read/try our last 2 posts ? This is not a bug that "mozilla has to fix", this is a bug that is specific to the certain configuration of your system, and only you have the possibility to fix it. This is what this forum is all about, it's about "support", you come with a problem and people try to help you fix it :). IE and chrome have theirs too, because they have bugs they can't fix on their end. No one has a magic wand that makes bug disapear yet :)

Please try the solutions mentionned in the last two answers and post your results here (did it work or did the problem occur again ? different problem ? specific details of different behaviors ? etc.)

Thank you
