How do I restore the old Firefox 7 "Open All In Tabs" behavior?

When I select the 'Open All In Tabs' option in Bookmarks, Firefox 8 opens new tabs without closing the existing tab. Firefox 7 allowed me to choose the behavior - left click to replace the existing tab, middle click to preserve the existing tab. I greatly prefer the old behavior, but I can't find any option to restore it.
