I don't want tabs, I want to open windows side by side, cascade, etc. I want to copy from one page to another with it being side by side. Thank you.

Use "Ctr+N" for a new window

Of course you open a link into a new Window
- Right click on the link for context menu "Open link in new window"
- Shift+click on a link to open link in new window

You can also get a bookmark to open in a new window by shift-clicking a bookmark rather than just clicking.
