There is no blank address space allowing me to type in a web site I wish to visit. How do I make this appear?

Are you in full screen mode toggle on/off with F11.
- Or if window is maximized "Alt+Spacebar" > Restore, then if dialog remains "Esc"
Quick method: Ctrl+L
To redisplay the Navigation and/or other toolbars:
- "Alt+V" (View Menu)
- Toolbars (shortcut at this point is T)
- if Navigation bar does not have a checkmark, click on that bar
